In this video, I take you through the process of enabling archive log mode in Oracle database 12c, 18c, 19c, and later versions. In order to undertake a successful online backup or perform flashback recovery in Oracle RMAN, you need to put the database in archive log mode. It is a crucial step in the backup and recovery process therefore it only made sense for me to create this video tutorial on how to enable archive log mode in the Oracle database.
