Got suggestions? Throw them in the comments! - Hudba
ROCKY GEORGE one of the most under-rated metal guitarists.
Agreed. Had his own style and sounds that you could instantly recognize, and some of the most amazing solos.
I came to the comments to say the exact same thing. Rocky was phenomenal.
@@seanmurphy637 still is phenomenal!!!
All the subtle guitar solos behind the verses on a lot of their songs are amazing and a lot of people don't pick up on it.
The last song is Pledge Your Allegiance from How Will I Laugh Tomorrow
Suicidal 4 Life here. ST is my favorite band of all time. Your reaction popped into my feed and I love the the format of continuing if Liam likes the song. The first four albums are all different and great in their own way. Liam definitely needs more songs from the first album.
One of my favorite Bands from the 80's
...and 90's ;)
I got to see Suicidal back in 87 here in Corpus Christi TX at The Ritz with Anthrax and Dirty Rotten Imbeciles (D R.I.) also AnkorWat....Mike Muir did a stagedive and i took a Chuck Taylor to the aide of my head...😂😂😂
I see 3 Suicidal reactions and I can't help but subscribe.
Hes a punk fan but foesnt know ST on this album was a skate punk band.
At almost the same time, hardcore punk, thrash metal was developing rapidly. That's why some people are a bit confused about suicidal tendencies.
Love this channel. Great reviews. It’s cool to know others were jamming to ST in their bedrooms across the country.
The music video is from a slightly later date with some new members maybe 91. The song was on Join The Army which came out in 87...awesome record
ST gigs are like a cross between a motivational speech and a riot.
Motivational riot sounds like an amazing band name😂 😂
We were jamming in the 80's
Bro your hair is so beautiful. Mika, I really love your energy.
This comment made me smile so much, thank you!! ~Mika
Saw them in Seattle 1992. The orchestra pit seats were ripped out by the pit
I found this early 90s! I had no idea they started late 80s.... I graduated in 1988 and had never heard them. But I lived in small town Iowa.... We are like 5 years behind the times :D
They started early 80's, first album came out 83 (punk / hardcore), 2nd album this came from in 87 (crossover hardcore / thrash)
Metal songs are longer than punk, so you shouldn't be looking for them to be short. The idea in metal is not to get a point out fast and move on, there is a building of energy, a flow of that energy and then a final release. I can see how you would feel about it though, being from a punk background. I'm glad overall you really liked it. ST is such a great band.
For monetization, I believe you don't have to worry about censoring your videos if the swearing is after 30 seconds of the video starting (I believe it's 30, you may want to look into it).
Bass player here is has been the bass player for Metallica for the last 20 years.
Bobbyyyyy!!❤❤❤
You should have shown him Possessed To Skate
Suicidal tendencies motorhead and DRI anthrax are very punk than most with some thrash.
Has anyone mentioned Robert who has played with many bands and ended up in metallica and his son is now the bass player for Suicidals
Right. And looks exactly like Rob looked back then. It's almost like they went back in time and got young Rob back.
Such a young Rob Trujilo. His son is like his twin.
I have to question Liam being a Punk fan if he's not familiar with ST.
No offense but if you've never heard their 1983 debut self titled album, you know nothing about punk. Its arguably and has been ranked as the best hardcore punk album of all time. You are listening to a song off their second album Join the army which started their metal phase which is cool but not as good as the debut and it alienated their hardcore fans. Do yourself a favor and go listen to the 83 debut album now.
NO FUCKING MERCY
I agree, a Punk fan whose not familiar with ST? I'd like to know what he's been listening to.
Don't mean to hang up on you, but if your a punk fan and don't know their first album, you missed something that was huge for punk!!!!!
Motorhead, DRI, megadeth, exodus mostly thrash but they have a large punk sound too
Join the army
Old school crossover check out anything from d.r.i this is before offspring
Please your allegiance was the last song they were going into.
They were going into pledge your aleagence
Thrash look it up! ST has an Anthrax sound to them yet they make it there own!!
This is an oxymoron, how do you convert a punk fan to a band that historically has always been a punk band (with thrash tendencies)?
Bass player has been in Metallica for last 20 years. Other members went to form Cypress Hill
Thanks for sharing, that's quite the musical résumé! ~ Mika
You just pulled that out of your backside lol. Cypress hill has nothing to do with suicidal tendencies 😂😂😂😂
Lol
S.T. IS punk rock
great musicians ....
The album version is a bit better vocally, but this rocks. Rocky's goin off!
