- Russian President Vladimir Putin said he had discussed the situation in Ukraine with visiting Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Friday, but reiterated his belief that Russia's proposals should be the key to resolving the conflict.
Putin said he was grateful to Orban for an attempt to restore dialog between Russia and Europe, but Kyiv was still not willing to stop the conflict.

Orban is nobody in politics. In order to end the war in Ukraine, dictator Putin must withdraw the occupation forces from Ukraine. After that, an international criminal court must be created to prosecute the Russian leadership. In addition, a timetable must be drawn up for Russia. On the basis of which Russia will compensate Ukraine for the damage caused by the war. It's that simple ending the war in Ukraine.
Orban is a leader of one of the most failed and corrupted countries in Europe. The corruption is close to Russia's, and that tells a lot. Russia is desperate, being humiliated by a smaller country, and are desperate for allies like North Korea and hungary.

Puketin needs to stand trial for what he has done and there is no way Ukraine will or even should negotiate peace. Simple way to end this war, Russia withdrawal from all Ukraine including Crimea. If they don’t Ukraine should look to keep fighting and press on with its goals. Puketin is on the back foot and Ukraine needs to keep it that way.

Kerch Bridge should NOT be destroyed or even slightly damaged, in my humble opinion...
I believe the Kerch bridge should act as a Joint Security Area (JSA) between Russia and Ukraine.
Much like the DMZ for North and South Korea, the JSA should be in the middle of the bridge (geographically between Russia and Ukraine) with a DMZ ran through the middle.
Of course for this to even be considered, russia would have to cede full control of Crimea to Ukraine, but placing a working JSA DMZ point of connection between the two governments, much like the North and South Korean model may be a good option.
Hostorically, looking at these type of conflicts and engagement ts of war, there will never be a clear winner.
I believe an Armistice should be developed, not a total capitulation and loss of statehood as putin is trying force on Ukraine.
Do I believe Ukraine could defeat russia? If the situation (weapon flow, political support, personnel availability, attrition of russian forces and equipment) remains steady state, then yes as every empire falls due to these conditions.
But it would come at the cost of economic recovery and commencement of rebuilding what the enemy has destroyed.
This idea may not be especially popular but I would recommend placing russia back in the G9.
Why the G9?
Well, with Ukraine, it would be the G9.
Due to Russia being weakened while Ukraine has become the Premier Military Power in Europe due to this conflict, this would be the organization, an organization that actually has "Teeth" and not muddled by politics like a NATO entry, where true "Flat Earth" politics could be discussed with a semblance of equality, though I still wouldn't go that far to call russia an actual Democracy.
