@@Phendranaguardian not only that. but given that titanfall hasa horrible launch when it released and didnt keep many players. and the extremely low sales of Titanfall 2. this game being Free 2 play and a Battle royale which is a massive trend right now, EA may very well Can titanfall 3 altogether and order respawn to focus their attention on this game. which is a massive shame if it happens because i enjoyed titanfall 1 and loved titanfall 2 and am eagerly waiting for titanfall 3. but when i heard this game and found out it was a Battle royale set in the titanfall universe my heart sank and im now fearful for Titanfall 3 given the past 2 games performance and the massive success of this game.

Well, I can't provide an links myself. But according to many people in this video's comments, TF3 HAS been put in hold because of Apex Legends and a second Spinoff game scheduled later in the year.
If TF3 does release, it'll be on next gen at this point.

Just got my 1st victory last day at the moisty area,it was just crazier than any competitive fortnite game.
I got my first win on my 4th game, I died but my teammate managed to get my flag to a respawn beacon. I diverged from the group to collect some loot and flanked the enemy and was pretty much the deciding factor for the win. It adds entirely new tactics to the battle royal formula now

Ok so this actually isn't just a spinoff. It's made by Respawn who made Titanfall, obviously. Towards the end of the video, they say "Who knows where the next champion will come from?" and they show a cool skull emblem over three screens.
At the end of the trailer, they say "As one Legend once said, 'They kill you, they're better. You kill them, you're better.'" That's a direct quote from Blisk on Titanfall 1. Blisk was a badass mercenary that was the leader of the Apex mercenary group. That cool skull emblem was the emblem of the Apex. The name of the game is Apex Legends.
The robot character has the same happy face screen as the robots on Tfall.
In the trailer, the video says the map is in the Frontier, which is where Titanfall takes place since it's the frontier of human expansion.
So this BR game isn't just a Titanfall port over ripoff thing, it's actually taking place in the Titanfall universe. This made me geek out so hard

@Jeamus Pffff bro i have been playing this game for 4 days and i already have 9 000 of the 12 000 coins that you need to buy the legend which is equal to playing 1 1/2 hours per day for 2 weeks i assume so grinding isn't the proper word for it. And legends don't influence the gameplay that much..
