What if you dared to purchase mp3's outside of the apple ecosystem? You just have a folder of mp3's on your iphone and you want to put that folder of music onto the watch? Why is this so difficult with an apple device?
The music has to be added to apple music locally on a pc or mac. Loaded to the phone using apple music and then ported to the watch using the music feature on the watch like he's describing.

Firstly they want you on their "proprietary" system. Secondly, They want you to stream everything.
