What an interesting initiative! I hope they continue applying it in other places :)

We also cannot wait to see this approach replicated in more and more countries! ⚡️🦋

Where I live in Canada, they only allow vegetation less than one meter below power lines. Under the guise that maintenance trucks can get easy access.

Give power to the insects 🤜🏽

My understanding was that under power lines Had to have short vegetation underneath and our at least once a year. Maybe this is only applicable in certain countries?

Was also what I thought. I've worked for a Company who built them and there was a team who had to make sure about the infrastructure of the lines and the surroundings.

Yeah, maybe not. There is a good reason why it’s naked under those power lines. The effects are well known. But they don’t like to talk about adverse effects. Probably due to the fact that those lines end up in everyone’s homes. But of course by the time it’s flowing through the walls of your house. The radiation is almost insignificant.

We hear you! 🙌 But there is not a lot of hard scientific evidence how electromagnetic radiation (and especially in the order of magnitude under the power lines) effects any animals or plants.

@@planet-wild I wasn’t trying to belittle your teams ideas. The well trusted Gov. knows very well. One of the reasons we know so little is because they have all the information. Of course the research we understand is inconclusive. That’s the first hint. It will always remain inconclusive. As long as electricity has been flowing. And you believe in all the years of radiation research all they have learned is basically nothing? This is just an extra info about trusted sources. Did you ever see a commercial for the jab? I’m not talking about some celebrity, politician, or sport idol? You understand that Pfizer pays millions upon millions for advertising? They couldn’t even put their name in front of their vacs on national tv. 🤔 They would have per law been forced to list the side effects of said vacs. Simple facts make our trusted sources, science, medical, and Gov. unreliable. Everyone must use critical thinking skills and discernment between truth and deception.👍

look who doesn't know about electromagnetic fields. why don't you try living between power lines for a few years, let's see how you enjoy that radiation

@@planet-wildI hear you too but what hard evidence do you need? if you're not supposed to stand in front of a microwave even though it's closed and encased with shielding lining or speak on your phone holding it directly to your head why would you think power lines carrying giga or terrawatts are not going to affect everything around them? it's common sense.
I'm not saying it's all the same level of radiation but I'm saying it's certainly not a healthy environment.
there's a video of a power meter on a wall covered by plants, except the plants about a foot or two directly around the meter were dead. anything around it had clearly died, as in you could see there were the leftover roots around the meter but anything green had perished. I mean I see there's clearly nature around those things but I wouldn't want to put any animals there for long periods of time.
