    Wow, for such a small channel, the editing on this video is clean, minimalistic and well done. Did not expect that. Great job.

    I've literally watched this video like 6 times. Your review is one of the reasons I'm buying it! This was also the first videos of yours I watched. I was subscribed to DanDanTheFireman and when he mentioned you I thought, "Hey that was the guy who reviewed the Bobber...if DanDan recommends his channel I'll have to subscribe". Glad I did too!

    Good review mate its nice to see a harley rider giving something different a go!
    The bobber does have self canceling indicators it just takes a greater lean angle to activate and a bit longer for them to cancel compered to a harley and your spot on it does lean to the right, i think its because of that big heavy lump of an exhaust. I do much prefer my new bobber to my sportster, Indian make a very well finished bike and its a blast to ride with all that extra hp

    How the heck do you insure these things? I'm looking to get my bike license this year and am looking around for bikes I like the looks of for the future, this Scout being one of them, when I have a few years experience behind me. Putting 5 years riding history and 9+ years NCB (from my car) in to quote sites I am getting ridiculous quotes coming back to me. I don't wanna be riding a 125 for 10 years. What's going on here?

    I like the bigger 4 plus gallon tank on the Sportster. I do like the greater horsepower of the Scout but I think the finish of the Sporty was better. I thought the Scout had 100 hp? Is that the number at the crank? Thanks for sharing.

    My first cruiser. I am in USA,I have abs and mirrors on ends of the handlebars.USA has no fork lock as in UK.love my 2018 bober. heat right at the seat can get bad especially when fan comes on.I wish wires were better hidden.Parts take so long to get all backed order. All lights are bright but would like LED main beam. No storage had to zip lock under seat paperwork but barely. I also wish seat had a lock,afraid somone will take it.Mine rides straight.

  • @Yama_Apri_521
    @Yama_Apri_521 Před 6 lety +17

    After owning a couple of Harley’s, my last one being a Low-Rider S, I have come to the conclusion that ‘performance’ just isn’t an attribute to look for in a cruiser. If it’s comfy and it makes you feel good, then that’s enough. If you want performance then you can’t avoid then fact that a Sports/Naked Bike is far more ‘thrilling’ to ride.
    A case in point: I sold my Low-Rider S for £15.5k. I went straight to a Yamaha Dealer and bought a brand new MT-10, with a load of accessories, including a de-cat pipe for £11k. That’s 160bhp, Cruise Control, etc etc for Stage 1 Sportster money. I miss having a Harley, but not enough to warrant the cost vs performance of other bikes.
    I’d have another cruiser, but every time I save up enough money I struggle to part with the cash when you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere.
    Horses for courses I guess. I’d be interested to hear what you think of the whole ‘performance’ side. Love your vids. Ride safe 👍

      I couldn't agree more that a bike is what you see fit for yourself. Comfort, speed, offroad, touring: it all depends on you. Power, speed, cornering, agility even in a sport touring is nice... but I do like kicking up my legs once in a while with my back rest enjoying the coast having cup holders.... its all about what you do n where you go! N u can't be anymore right!

    Good review mate. I have not ridden an Indian before but I don't care for the weight difference on the right side. To me, that is an Engineering flaw that could be addressed by Indian. I have to say though, as much as I like hearing how you talk across the pond, I just need more England accent and jive talk. Give us the good stuff... :)

    I have the regular Scout and love it. I've sat on the bobber and found it uncomfortable compared to my "unbobbed" Scout...the Bobber's seat is hard as a rock, and the pegs are in a slightly different position. The normal Scout, however, has perfect positioning (for me). If you find the Scout Bobber comfy for you, go for it - it's a badass bike.
