- 2018 Indian Scout Bobber Review
This is my first impressions of riding an Indian Motorcycle Scout Bobber 2018 model. And what a positive impression it made.

Wow, for such a small channel, the editing on this video is clean, minimalistic and well done. Did not expect that. Great job.
I've literally watched this video like 6 times. Your review is one of the reasons I'm buying it! This was also the first videos of yours I watched. I was subscribed to DanDanTheFireman and when he mentioned you I thought, "Hey that was the guy who reviewed the Bobber...if DanDan recommends his channel I'll have to subscribe". Glad I did too!
Man that bike looks like its dooing 110 miles an hour just sitting there man i love this bike and i agree its looks so solid and built with quality
Looks bloody fantastic. I might have shifted from getting a Harley to an Indian considering pricing and the great aesthetic.
Great video, been thinking pretty hard about giving Indian a go lately. Intro song is Soul - DJ Quads, for those of you asking :)
Good review mate its nice to see a harley rider giving something different a go!
The bobber does have self canceling indicators it just takes a greater lean angle to activate and a bit longer for them to cancel compered to a harley and your spot on it does lean to the right, i think its because of that big heavy lump of an exhaust. I do much prefer my new bobber to my sportster, Indian make a very well finished bike and its a blast to ride with all that extra hp
Good concise review unlike most of them on CZcams .
Your videos are so great! I really want to know where I can find this song you play in the intro to this video, its just aaawwwweeesoooommmeee!! hahaha
This bike leave the sportster in the dust. Design wise, details, build quality and the ride which many reviewer say it’s formidable.
Great review! Refreshing with something else for a change. Keep it up!
Loved the review mate
Abhimanyu Singh thanks
Would you test out the Indian Dark Horse and give your thoughts on the Bobber and Dark horse and difference you see? Thanks looking towards getting a Bobber!
Thank you for all the details captured in your year drive
I like the option with the bar end mirrors a little better. Fantastic bike. The Indian and Triumph bobbers are my favorite bikes right now.
Nice run through and great video. I noticed a gas light indicator on the speedo? Did they add the gas indicator for 2018?
Omg... I am in love!
Hi Congrats I love your impressions and the way you show the bikes. I would like to see you test the NEW 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black Edition
Regards
How the heck do you insure these things? I'm looking to get my bike license this year and am looking around for bikes I like the looks of for the future, this Scout being one of them, when I have a few years experience behind me. Putting 5 years riding history and 9+ years NCB (from my car) in to quote sites I am getting ridiculous quotes coming back to me. I don't wanna be riding a 125 for 10 years. What's going on here?
You sound so much like like Tim Canterbury from the office !! Timmmmbo :-) Great review btw.
I want one and I’ve never had a bike ever. 1st timer here hopefully one day.
I like the bigger 4 plus gallon tank on the Sportster. I do like the greater horsepower of the Scout but I think the finish of the Sporty was better. I thought the Scout had 100 hp? Is that the number at the crank? Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed mate, she’s a lovely machine, I’m doing triumph bobber soon... look out for it . There shall be BEANS 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love the English slang- Crackin', Brilliant, and Pony? Got to ride one of these myself mate. Nice review.
So does yours lean to the right aswell???
Like this bike very much, may get it this year but did I hear it right? It has no fuel gauge??
My first cruiser. I am in USA,I have abs and mirrors on ends of the handlebars.USA has no fork lock as in UK.love my 2018 bober. heat right at the seat can get bad especially when fan comes on.I wish wires were better hidden.Parts take so long to get all backed order. All lights are bright but would like LED main beam. No storage had to zip lock under seat paperwork but barely. I also wish seat had a lock, afraid somone will take it.Mine rides straight.
Does it have a gauge or something to tell you how much gas you have in the tank?
Please review the X Diavel S and Triumph Bobber...would be interested in your take.
I ride dirt and sport bikes but this is by far the best looking motorcycle I’ve ever seen
How would you compare this beauty against Harley's 2018 Fat Bob?
Ehat are those doodles on the road? Awesome review btw.
omg this bike is so beautiful, i want it!
That's an automatic right? You said there is no fuel consumption indicator or just miles left available?
Would this Make a good book for a beginner?
I love this design
It’s so beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍 dream bike
Love these bikes, they look so good. Only thing I'd do is wrap the exhaust pipe (not the muffler) with Kevlar for a contrast I colour against all that flat black, and offers your leg a bit of comfort.
is it right that you have only been riding for 2 years ? my hubby is getting fed up with the reviews.
Which one is better Harley Davidson Iron 883 or this one?
Ride / seat height ? How tall are you ? Ground clearance ?
The lean to the right seems to come from new tires, and should balance out after a while.
im brand new into bikes and was curious are bikes without stereos a common thing?
He said straight away,it's stock. It's a beast when it's tuned to your liking, the counterbalance is off but easily fixable.
After owning a couple of Harley’s, my last one being a Low-Rider S, I have come to the conclusion that ‘performance’ just isn’t an attribute to look for in a cruiser. If it’s comfy and it makes you feel good, then that’s enough. If you want performance then you can’t avoid then fact that a Sports/Naked Bike is far more ‘thrilling’ to ride.
A case in point: I sold my Low-Rider S for £15.5k. I went straight to a Yamaha Dealer and bought a brand new MT-10, with a load of accessories, including a de-cat pipe for £11k. That’s 160bhp, Cruise Control, etc etc for Stage 1 Sportster money. I miss having a Harley, but not enough to warrant the cost vs performance of other bikes.
I’d have another cruiser, but every time I save up enough money I struggle to part with the cash when you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere.
Horses for courses I guess. I’d be interested to hear what you think of the whole ‘performance’ side. Love your vids. Ride safe 👍
X-Diavel will challenge that theory rather authoritatively, as may one or two of the BMW line, but yeah, your point is well taken.
Tomi Hilfinger speak for yourself.
I couldn't agree more that a bike is what you see fit for yourself. Comfort, speed, offroad, touring: it all depends on you. Power, speed, cornering, agility even in a sport touring is nice... but I do like kicking up my legs once in a while with my back rest enjoying the coast having cup holders.... its all about what you do n where you go! N u can't be anymore right!
hey guys, this bike has 70 kW at least in Europe so my question is, is it possible to restrict it and be able to ride with A2 licence ? thank you
I know I’m late to the party, but how would you say the Indian scout bobber compare/contrast to each other?
Good review mate. I have not ridden an Indian before but I don't care for the weight difference on the right side. To me, that is an Engineering flaw that could be addressed by Indian. I have to say though, as much as I like hearing how you talk across the pond, I just need more England accent and jive talk. Give us the good stuff... :)
Harley Dave , I’m pretty sure he has a Welsh accent, much nicer than English. I have to say that though, cos my wife’s Welsh.
Harley Dave
i just lovr this bike
I tested one today to see if it was just a beautiful bike or a "real" bike. I can confirm the bike is gorgeous.
Just curious, how tall are you?
Would you give up your Dyna for one ?
Name of that track at the beginning. ))))???
can anyone tell me the name of the intro song . moto has such good music on this videos but no song names xD
What’s better the scout or the fatbob
Very nice review. A bit wary of that lean, but nice job overall.
Is good for short riders cause I’m 5 foot?
theres no gas gauge on this bike?
"Same Jazz"........priceless.
5:41 I almost went screaming there for a second "Wrong side of the r....oh wait nm" hehe
It's his engine much more powerful than the 107 m8? Not the numbers, just your feelings, how compares this bike to the softail street bob?
Sr. D from memory I think the M8 107 felt like it had more torque.
Tell me the price
wish you indicated the price?
It would have been nice to see the riding position.
So does it tell you when youre about to dun outta gas?
what about the Indian scout?
Would this be a good bike for a first bike? Considering getting my first bike and I'm really into this one
They're a brilliant bike! They feel wonderfully smooth to drive, As a starter I'm not sure! They're very peppy so just watch out for that.
Oh fucking hell, was enjoying this video and trying to imagine what it'd handle like around my area and on the way to work... then you passed my house in the last couple minutes and it all got a bit surreal.
nice review but I'm getting motion sick. maybe have your camera on a stick or something so it's not moving around so much. 👌👍
The bike doesn't lean when you let go of the bars. Try not pushing on the right foot-peg. The bike is very nimble and will lean either way if you push on the foot pegs.
Subscribed, but please spend more time talking about style details and showing us.
This bike is a beauty, for me the best
Same here
Thank you for doing some decent bends that gave me a lot of feed back
Someone make a video on how to ride a motorcycle
you can get Miller exhaust
The ACTUAL first motorcycle manufacturer in the USA
amazing
What's that track ?? Its awesome. ... name please or link.
since he aint gonna say shit its "soul" by dj quads
It does sound a little whirry. Not diggin its sounds. It doesn't purr.
Wow i’m surprised Manufacturers can put out a bike that wants to turn in one direction instead of being balanced togo straight? Isnt that unsafe?
good work
Didn't realise you could get these in the UK.
Nice video
Ive watched a handful of reviews on this model and no one else stated anything about a lean to the right.
I've had my 2016 model for a year, And I haven't noticed anything. Maybe his is faulty or it's just something with the 2018?
wvlfAce something with that ONE bike.
I say mate you give a good review, my bloke. Pip, pip
Has a car ever been built without a gas gauge?
that counter steer would be a no no for me but everything is great it seems. Just that this counter steer would make my back ache so much.
I have the regular Scout and love it. I've sat on the bobber and found it uncomfortable compared to my "unbobbed" Scout...the Bobber's seat is hard as a rock, and the pegs are in a slightly different position. The normal Scout, however, has perfect positioning (for me). If you find the Scout Bobber comfy for you, go for it - it's a badass bike.
Rode both today but didn't feel much of a difference. The bobbers bars are a bit more forward but it wasnt a massive difference.
Hi TwoGun Gunnar! I work for a company called TideWatch and we are conducting a market research study on 2017-19 Scout owners - it’s a pretty simple study (walkaround video of your bike and 45-60 minute webcam discussion) for a $300 incentive 😊 If you’re interested, please fill out the following survey: surveys.tidewatchsurveys.com/D22FDA95/810072EE/en-US Once the survey is complete, a member of the TideWatch team will reach out with more details. Thank you! www.tidewatch.com
Where do you insert the key ? I mean where's the ignition? Or have i missed that part ?
By the motor on the left
@@scottstewart8737 thanks mate
nice video
Intro song?
Soul - DJ Quads
I don’t hate it. At all. I own a ‘16 Roadster w/ ABS, and it doesn’t compare in terms of suspension and braking. The engine, though...much smoother and liquid cooled w/ 100hp beats the Evolution in most every way aside from PROVEN reliability.
It's a big motor man.
Iron American Dream on CZcams.
big size for only a 1133cc engine yeah.
the bike can't go a straight line? what?
Why are people always talking about Bob? Why not a Georger. I live in Georgia. I want a Georger.
Damn shame there are only a handful of vids that highlight ape hangers on the Scout.
That lean to the right would bother me. It’s a good looking bike.
Don't believe what he says about that.
Manufacturer defect and the dealer needs to fix that. There are loads of Indians around my area. Not one person has bitched that the bike leans.
An empty box hill? That's rare :P
Tends to be plagued with OAPs walking everytime i've been up in the week :P No where near a hectic as a Sunday though ahaha
I choose this over a 883..
I think the scout bobber is Something to replace victorys octane :)
Blurry Face because victory is going to close down
The scout is the only Indian that doesn’t look completely retarded. Those signature front fenders on all the other models look like a cartoon snail shell. This bike actually looks sharp.
the bike's exhaust note has to adhere to U.S./British standards as far as Decibels of sound at time of sale. that's why its so quiet. ........................
