I haven't watched this, but I'm picking Pile #1. Honestly, if he really wanted me to know this, he would have told me long before this. If a person can reach out easily to empty people offering very little, and can't reach out to you, where you've offered them more, then that might be a sign they're not ready for or deserve you. I get ego and fear will do that to people, but if they really care, they'd overcome that and reach out.
