I tried takoyaki in the takoyaki museum in Tokyo, but I thought it was completely disgusting. It's like salty raw dough with squid with the sucker things still on it? I couldn't get it down personally.

I love Doryaki the chocolate filling is so delicious and my mom used to do Doryaki....and its Doraemon's favourite thats why i recommended Doryaki to my mom.
Believe me it's not, the part of the sexual apparel of this creature touch the thing you're supposed to eat, looks like a red/ orange monster or worm stuck at it 🤮
Ok ngl I have no idea where this dish is from but I fricken love it my mom makes this sometimes and it’s called winter melon soup I think I’m not sure but if you ever see this on a menu GET IT it’s so simple yet so comforting even if you’ve never had it. It’s hard to explain lol!
The thing about food review is, that it is very subjective, and really depends on the person's personal taste, like if you have sweet tooth, then you give much higher score for the pastry or sweet kind of food rather than the savoury one.

If you don't wanna go to Japan come to the DMV on the east. Surprisingly a lot of authentic Japanese food spots. Tanpopo is my favorite for a chill vibe

I love dorayaki😻 here in Italy in most places you can also find the variant with nutella as filling cause most Italians might feel the taste of red bean paste a bit weird since is not a food item that we eat in our diet but personally I absolutely adore every dish with red bean paste😂
