I enjoyed that information about the painting, raining day in Paris 💜👍☕💐💖
I love this painting, I see something new every time I visit the Art Institute.
To me the lamppost creates a split between a close up of a couple and a landscape view of a public place. Was this ever mentioned by the artist? Wonderful painting.
My favorite painting to hit new visitors with - on their first AI visit...
My favorite painting!!
It's magnificent.
I agree this painting is a masterpiece and I love it also! It uplifts me and I am interested in making a diamond mosaic painting of this or a paint-by-number or maybe to try a reproduction of it myself for stress relief as it is public domain I can post pictures of it online. :)
Go for it!
An absolute masterpiece! I have also included this painting in a video I made titled 'Top 10 Masterpiece Paintings'.
