'Peter Hickman, full lap, multiple cameras' - Gives you more appreciation of the speed - our favourite youtube couple :-)
But... I need to add that the Peter Hickman multiple camera lap is an exhibition lap, not a race lap, so he's only giving it 70%....
@@robbikebob Yes, I know, he was showboating, not racing, but some good footage nevertheless.

âWhy didnât we hear about this?â Because it didnât happen in America.
as a motorcyclist myself and a person who likes going fast, my jaw still drops at the speed these guys do around the TT course, their skill is other worldly. Can i also say as An RAf veteran i loved your appreciation of the trooping of the colour, lets just hope these traditions carry on for generations.

Great Reaction, as usual, Ladies:)
You MUST follow this up by observing some action as in the "ISLE OF MAN TT-GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH" .
Just put that title into a CZcams search and THEN you can really see the inherent dangers as they go within inches of stone walls at bends.
Remember he said "average" speed of 130 Miles Per Hour so you can imagine how many 200MPH Faster Sections there are. Enjoy !
Love these kind of videos, you might also want to watch WRC craziest drivers, there is some insane footage out there.
I thought you said ninth?
Congrats on the 20k, I remember when you first started .... your production quality seems to have improved a bit since then. :D
@@lennonpolo yeah we misspoke. It was our 10th
That was fantastic. In 1947 my Dad finally came back from WW2 in Burma. In 1948, I guess with some stuff to get out of his system, he went to the Isle of Man and competed on his Norton 750 Twin motorcycle. He must have survived, because I am here to tell you about it. As a baby I travelled in a sidecar attached to that same bike. Love your videos.
As a multiple Norton owner over the years, your comment made my night.
A 750 Norton twin in 1948 ?
@@glynjones9988 I might be wrong about the model. He had a series of Nortons and one BSA before he got his first car - split window side valve Minor.
@@glynjones9988 In '48 it was more likely a 500cc Twin. But still a Norton.
As insane as the riders are, it's the sidecar guys that blow my mind they are another level of brave.
I've been to the TT on several occasions, and my favourite rider was always been Guy Martin. Women ride the TT too. On one occasion my uncle loaned me his Vincent Black Shadow to (slowly) ride the course after a day's racing had finished. I only dared get up to 75mph max, on a straight-ish stretch ...some areas of the course are downright scary...but it was a blast!
Huge fan of Guy Martin, just love his documentary series, especially Speed.
You lucky lucky girl!! most people I know would kill for the chance to ride a Vinnie! I used to race against a guy from Coventry who had a Black Lightning spec Vincent engine in his sidecar, he was almost unbeatable!
@Scimmia there are plenty of ladies who compete in the sidecars at the TT, and there have been a few all female teams competing over the years.
@Scimmia Read it again Annemarie never claimed that they were competative just that they also took part.
@Scimmia Jenny Tinmouth was 4th in the 2010 TT zero , i would say that is competitive enough , and OK woman may not challenge the top 30 but which other elite sport allows men and woman to compete equally against each other , If your fast(and safe) enough - you are good enough .
5 racers died this year.. this is a truly historical racing event and I hope it never goes away. The men and women who compete in the TT are amazing athletes and competitors. And they should be held in the highest regard.. love your intros! Our favorite CZcams couple!
Hi ladies ! There is a next-level of lunacy on the Isle of Man - sidecar racing. I have to admit that I like your introductions quite a lot and you are definitely my favorite CZcams couple.
Sadly, three people lost their lives this year on the TT race, that's how dangerous it really is!
Yes we spoke about this tragedy in the video

Hi folks
Love your intros, our favourite youtube couple.
That other TT video you mentioned, I think I have seen, and you should definitely watch it,
3 people so far, still a few days of racing left
I knew Mark Ramsbotham, Rammy, the guy who died in 2007, he lived in my village, he was a mad lad. Another sad thing about the situation, one of his best friends died in a car accident coming back from Marks funeral. Love the great work ladies, loving the intros, our favourite CZcams couple. Peace from England.
Love your intros. My favourite CZcams couple. This video is a good choice for introducing you to The Isle of Man TT. I've had bikes for years. Was fortunate enough to go to the TT in 2005. Fabulous experience to witness and appreciate the commitment and dedication of not only the riders, but the marshals and organisers. Could I suggest that you watch an on board video of one of the racers doing a lap. That way, you won't have to watch a video involving a crash. Keep up the good work girls. Best wishes from Wales. đŽó §ó ąó ·ó Źó łó żđ
Interesting facts about the race in a video I had not seen before. Would love to see you watch more about this race. I love your intros and you chaps are my (our) favourite youtube couple.
I love you guys. Thanks for your reaction Vids. I usually avoid such things like the plague, but you guys have a certain charm that raises you above the rest. Very Best Wishes and the Best of British to you.
Love your intro's, my favourite CZcams couple.
I may not comment much but I do try to watch your content right to the end whenever possible and I have never missed a video. Keep going ladies, you brighten my day and keep on educating us.
I like your intros , my favourite CZcams couple.thanks for doing this reaction, l didnât know hardly anything about the TT races and I do now .
My family used to go over every year back when me and my 2 younger brothers were kidsâŠ..so this was back in the 80âs. Iâm sure there was a freak accident one year where an air ambulance helicopter had landed to tend to an injured rider. As the helicopter took off it spooked a horse in a nearby field which jumped onto the track and right into the path of an oncoming rider who unfortunately hit the horse and died.
The TT is one of those things, IMO, thatâs practically impossible to banâŠ..the riders fully know what could happen. Obviously none of them want to crash etc but at the same time if things did end badly, they wouldnât want to be known as the one that caused the TT to be bannedâŠ..if that makes sense?
Gene McDonnell.
LOVE YOUR INTRO. OUR FAVOURITE CZcams COUPLE. great video thank you ladies
I just wanted to thank you for choosing this video in particular. I love history too, so this was great choice, especially for those who don't know much about the TT. I've been watching this, and many other forms of motorbike racing for over 20 years (I'm 38 now). I have the utmost respect for riders and all the safety crews throughout the world. I've been on the back of bike going about 100 miles per hour (on a straight road), and it scared the sh*t out of me. Sending you both much love from England, you're videos are always brilliant. And thank you for brightening up my days, you are both so lovely and fun xxx
Another great video from our favourite CZcams couple! Always love your intros.
Iâd suggest watching Guy Martinâs narration of his onboard lap but it might make you feel queasy.
But Iâd highly recommend his TV shows, especially the ones relating to military vehicles and history - thereâs one where he rebuilds a WW1 tank (as it originates in Lincoln close to where weâre both from), another where he restores a Spitfire, one where heâs involved in the last flight of the Vulcan bomber (the one that ânukedâ the US), and heâs done ones about the D-Day landings, the Battle of Britain and the Lancaster bomber most recently. On a slower pace he also restored a narrowboat and travelled around England looking at different elements of the Industrial Revolution - and in How Britain Worked he restores things like steam engines, boats, piers and more and looks at the history of the industrial revolution in Britain again. I think youâd really enjoy them.
Please do the Guy Martin commentary reaction.

Thanks for looking at the TT, a race that is almost impossible to believe is still allowed but I'm so glad that it is.
"If you want to feel truly alive in life, here is the place. Just as the bike's wheelieing over the edge, pushing you towards the outside of the track, weaving on one wheel at 170mph towards the grass bank, this is it. This is life personified."
This is a quote by Dave Hewson, taken from his YT video "My TT addiction. Why I love the Isle of Man TT races." czcams.com/video/d4AheD8gMJU/video.html. A introduction to the TT races from an amateur riders point of view.
Hi guys, myself and my girlfriend love your intro's and you're definitely our favourite CZcams couple.
We were in Germany 4 years ago and I maxed my modified Audi R8 V10 S Spider at 218 mph on one of the B roads between Hamburg and Bonn. I never knew that my girlfriend was religious until she looked at the speedometer!đ±đđđ
When the Bee Gees had their difficult time,in the early 70âs Maurice was a TT race marshall. He had a house, next to a chip shop,on the Isle of Man.He and Barry, and of course Robin, were born on the island.
I agree with the comments on Guy Martin and really suggest that you watch his world record in a specialy built wall of death where he went so fast that he almost blacked out.

âPeter Hickman full lap chin camââŠLove your intros. Our favourite CZcams couple.
Love your intros. Our favourite you tube couple. Interesting to see the history of the racing. The camera mounted motorcycle clips are terrifying/ exciting depending on who you are.
Although the Isle of Man TT is the pinnacle of road racing, there are other road racing venues in the British Isles - chiefly in Ireland (Dundrod, Kells, Skerries etc) . There is also a second event on the Isle of Man called the Manx GP. At one stage, they also raced cars on the Isle of Man.
I would suggest that you watch RIP John Hinds ,who was a paramedic ( an anesthetist ) and a doctor that rode a quick response motor cycle at these events. He is giving a lecture in the States about dealing with motor cycle accidents, It is not too gory, but in places very funny. He was killed in an accident, a sad loss .

Guys I'd love for you to see the sidecar races. It's a step beyond. The passenger holds on rather than sitting in a sidecar. They use their weight to get them round corners at speed. It's incredible. Great video as always, keep them coming! đđđđ

Always focusing on the deaths⊠These riders are ballsy professionals who know exactly what theyâre doing, at the top of their game on race machines. The skill involved is immense.
TT Closer to the Edge is a better reflection of the men and women who go to the island, and you should see the sidecars for true lunacy đ
Love your intro's my favourite youtube couple.I was on holiday on the Isle of Man in 1964 when the TT races were on - very excititing. I saw the Rolling Stones there but they were just starting out at that time.

Hi Ladies, love your intros. Our favourite CZcams couple. You've done this the right way round. Getting the history and the facts before watching the laps and first person perspective from the riders view.
Most TT videos have interviews with riders that go into their motivations and how they handle fear. The payback is the endorphine rush. The best quote ever must be from the late, great, Joey Dunlop. "There's a green blur and a grey blur. I try to stay on the grey blur."
Interesting to hear the history. I'd love to see your reaction to the other TT videos with racing clips that really show the speed and danger of this incredible race. I watch your entire videos, but prefer to write my own comments :)
We like that even better! Thought it would be interesting to see how many do.
â@@TheNatashaDebbieShow If you are in USA you do have a sport that kills even more people , show wrestling ,10 died in 2021 , 14 died in 2020 .

Love your intros! I didn't realise SO many people died every year, I knew it was dangerous and people lost their life but didn't realise it was a yearly thing.
Our fav' CZcams couple does it again, great vid.
I made the mistake of getting married and then telling my missus about the time someone pulled in front of my motorcycle and sent me flying into some overgrowth. Now Iâm not allowed to buy another. So now all Iâve got is watching the camera views from these events to help remind me of what it was like to ride. Albeit in a more perilous manner.
Hi there, Love your Intro's
This video was very informative, with the facts and figures.
Please Please cover more of the TT, showing on board footage of both the bikes and the sidecars, especially the crowd reactions...they can be hilarious, as they realise exactly what 180mph plus looks like.

Hey ladies,
My friend rode this race a number of times and was addicted to the thrill of this race. There isn't even great prize money to be the fastest! Unfortunately he made a fatal mistake in his last race. He was only in his 20's. RIP Mingle.

My sincere condolences richt.
You need to watch the "Closer to the Edge" documentary to gain a much better understanding of the men (and a few women!) to compete in the TT. My family owns a self catering holiday cottage business at the 11th milestone - and my brother is currently in the middle of a busy (two years without has been hard) TT. Would love to see a reaction to Guy Martin, who the documentary made a household name - and gave him the spin off "Speed" series. Love it as always.

Love your intro and our favourite CZcams couple. Great vid as always, like you Iâm not into motorcycle racing! X
*Isle of Man* - *221 square miles* ...
...Not much bigger than the *141 square miles* of my city *Bradford* which recently became the 4th *UK City of Culture* ever.
*Bradford* is also:
The *6th Biggest City in the UK by Population* - *542,128* to be exact.
The *7th Biggest City in the UK by Area* - *366.41 in square kilometres* to be exact.
The World's 1st *UNESCO City of Film* and home of the *National Science and Media Museum,* which includes *Europe's First IMAX* and just the *3rd Remaining Cinerama Screen in the World.*
The 7 time *Curry Capital of Britain* winners, and frequent hosts of the *World Curry Festival.*
The Unofficial *Tea Capital* (if you want to know my reasons, then ask).
The Former *Wool Capital of the World.*
The Birthplace and Home of *The Brontë's* etc.
Yet it's...
Missing from most Maps of the UK's Cities.
Missing from most Tourism websites.
Ignored by the Mainstream Media...when it comes to the good stories at least.
Even when the media do actually mention *Bradford* in a positive article, it'll get a small mention, while the cities which they incorrectly assume are bigger, get almost the entire article to themselves.
Plus when TV/film companies do actually visit *Bradford,* I often find them claiming to be *"near Bradford,"* or *"just outside Bradford,"* even when they're less than 2 to 3 miles from *Bradford City Centre.*
I'm bingley, myself
I spent alot of time in Bradford growing up, my mum was born and bred there, my grandparents lived there most of my childhood, my brother was born there. It has a place in my heart â€
@@mattymoowhite So you're from *Bradford.* Or are you one of those people who claims not be from *Bradford,* even though *Bingley* is part of the 141 square mile *City of Bradford,* as that's what the city status belongs to, just like with all metropolitan cities in the UK.
@@danielgardecki1046 I was born in Ilkley, been living bingley for 23 years, to my mind, Bradford it's self begins on the other side of frizinghall. But yes bingley has a Bradford postcode
â@@mattymoowhite As I suspected. You're from *Ilkley* in *Bradford,* and live in *Bingley* in *Bradford,* but rarely or never mention that you're from *Bradford.*
*Postcodes* and *Post towns* are irrelevant to the location of places, as they're addresses from the *Royal Mail* which are *46 years out of date* (57 years out of date for people in Greater London and surrounding counties), and have nothing to do with *official village, town, city, county etc boundaries* which are decided by the *UK Government.*
I randomly stumbled across a recent amateur video about *Saltaire* recently, where the filmmaker/presenter of the video said *"Here I am in Saltaire, just on the outskirts of Bradford."*
Those of the types of things which annoy me.
*Saltaire* is nowhere near the *"outskirts of Bradford."*
It's almost in the centre of the 141 square mile *City of Bradford,* is in the main town of *Shipley,* and is exactly 3 miles from *Bradford City Centre.*
If it was next to the city's border like *Menston, Burley in Wharfedale, Addingham, Ilkley, Steeton, Silsden, Queensbury, Wyke, Oakenshaw, Tong, Thornbury* etc then fair enough, but it isn't.
The same goes for professional TV presenters who rarely claim to be *"in Bradford,"* when they're *"in Bradford."*
They're always claiming to be *"nearby," "on the outskirts" or "just outside" Bradford,* even when they're in neighbourhoods like *West Bowling* which literally touches the *City Centre* ward boundary.
Last month I added a recent *BBC documentary* about the *Brontes* to *IMDB,* where the presenter called the village of Haworth *"a bustling town,"* kept calling the Bronte Parsonage Museum *"Haworth Parsonage,"* and worst of all said *"their novels were rooted in the people and landscape of North Yorkshire."*
I'm pretty sure she, or one of the other people in the documentary, only mentioned *Bradford* once briefly, and that was when they were talking about their father *Patrick Bronte's* time as a priest
Yet the *Brontes* were born in *Thornton, Bradford* and raised in *Haworth, Bradford,* where practically of all their inspiration came from the many moors in *Bradford, West Yorkshire.*
Another great video from my favourite CZcams intro!
I love your couplesâŠ

The morning after it finishes is just as crazy. I returned from a 2 week cruise into Liverpool docks at the same time as the Isle of Man ferry with all the TT riders coming bak to the UK. There was literally hundreds of motorcycles clogging up the roads. I waited nearly three hours for a taxi (usual wait is about 10 minutes), because the most of the city's taxis were actually avoiding the docks area. They knew they weren't going to be picking up many fares that morning. normally, when a cruise ship puts back in port, nearly every single taxi heads to the docks and most make multiple journeys.
There are a lot of ladies racing the TT solo and side car ! Hats off to all đđđđ

The video you just watched doesn't do the race enough justice.
You do need to watch a video actually showing clips of the racing. This will give you a real understanding of the race and the immense skill of the riders. As a bonus, the scenery of the island is also stunning.
