What do blue lines mean in iOS15 Weather App?

Red/Dark red means dangerously hot orange means hot yellow means warm green means mild light blue means cool dark blue means cold/very cold purple/dark purple means frigid

I thought they showed at what time in the day it would be raining, snowing etc. they seem pointless now.

how do you tell the max and min? what if the temp is higher than 11 or lower than 1?

if blue line touches the right side - that’s max. if it touches the left - that will be min.
