Here's my run with the SKYRC SR5 Dirt Bike on 3S LiPo. I really enjoyed driving this bike (both on 2S and 3S), it's quite a lot of fun to see a bike going around the BMX track, taking some jumps and just keep coming back for more. And on 3S, this bike has some very good power.

Now I have heard of headless mode in drones/quadcopters so how did that handle in headless mode lol that thing looks like heaps of fun, cool thanks for sharing that Vas.

Something morbid about the headless horseman there, but it is a neat gadget. I like these videos because they help either sell me on something I want, or as with this, confirm that it's something I don't. :)

the cog on the back wheel connected to the chain is a bit like a spur gear; if you put one on there with less teeth the bike will go faster

What sort of run times are you getting Vas ? Just with you telling us about the constantly spinning gyro . Do you think that affects the battery life ? Thanks .

Hey bro could you help me out I just bought this bike pre-owned came with a zippy compact 25c 1500 3cell 11.1v lipo. I wanted to go bigger like 3300mah. Could you link me to a good lipo and not sure if charger it came with could charge 3300mah 3s lipo I have a en3 20watt 3amp nimh nicad charger that comes stock with bike. If not could you also link me to charger would appreciate some help thank you. Sorry I'm a nitro guy

Pretty cool, but some things just don't run too well as an RC. Probably best on road???
I still run mine on 3s, the rider is a bit fragile on these and they have gone up significantly since I bought mine in 2016. I glue my rider back together using hot glue, when necessary. The tyres needed supergluing to the rims using 3s but I'm still on my first set of tyres with plenty of tread left. I use 2200-4500mAh 3s lipos in it with great run times. The new Losi RC bike looks tempting as an upgrade but is over £700 in the UK which seems a bit steep to me.
The Losi bike is over $900 here, so about 40% more than the SR5 bike. I'm sure it's great, bit the market for bikes isn't huge and I don't know if it justifies the price. We'll see...
@@AussieRCPlayground It has some better features like bike power feedback to the Tx so you don't over discharge the lipo and controlled wheelies, plus what looks like a more durable rider. I'm sure the SR5 would easily compete with the Losi though on a track or for fun. I'd consider one if it was up to £350 but not double that...👍

A regular size 2S hard case and a similar size 3S soft case will fit fine.
How Do you put your esc in lipo mode
Should be in lipo mode by default.
How many cells can the esc take?
3S is max.
How do you make to work it in 3S please ?
Simple, you plug in a 3S battery. ;)
