I'll say this: Wei's version of Zhang Fei's DW4 cutscene has him YELLING the same line instead of just talking calmly. I will also admit a shameless love for his line in DW5. COME ON! This bridge belongs to me, and the toll for passage is *DEATH!*
6 was best because he was feared because he showed some actual combat and not just got bs super saiyan powers or the ability to shoot waves by screaming.
He killed 4 people in one Swing and that transformation is a literal Game mechanic in 5 plus his line is far and away the best. The Toll for Passage is Death.
I remember moment when i play DW 6 in this map. I'm with Cao cao team and i'm using Xiaho Dun. First when i meet Zhang Fei, all my team geng him until i push him and falling from the bridge. After he fall, he just walk away and find the way up again so i jump down and fight him 1 on 1
Can we agree the only problem with dw6 is its combat and clones and nothing else dammit can’t they remake that game with everything intact but upgrade the combat it has the best level design, character models, graphics in my opinion 7 looks worse 6 looked better artistically.
It's depressing how they stole his thunder in 8 by having zhuge Liang Zhao Yun and like 4 generic officers posted beside you on that bridge though more believable but still

Bic Mann That's because of his overall talent as a general not the fact that he was the strongest. I'd wager Fei was stronger than him from what I've read but who knows. And Lu Bu was definitely stronger than Guan Yu. Lu Bu fought Guan Yu and Zhange Fei at the same time so Guan Yu ain't no God.
Yeah, I agree, Zhang Fei is supposed to be a hearty character who likes to drink, his dw4 and dw5 voices are really on point, dw6+ however, they just sound more hoarse and not as depicting of his character

Dw5 and dw7 actually incorporated the legend that zhangfei frightened off thousands of caocao’s army with a powerful war yell.
Nothing beats Zhang Fei’s bridge scene in DW6.
