the whole Higher Truth is beautiful but a bit odd that he dedicated it to his wife... I' ve been wondering about this record since december... And a lot more now
He did, really? Honestly, I've been doing a lot of reading on this subject, and the more I'm learning that more I realize - it is not odd at all that he would dedicate this album to her.
I´ve been loosing a lot of sleep over this... I try to stick to his lyrics and his interviews and I can´t tell if he loved her more than he hated her or what. But he had strong feelings for her for sure.
Or, it could be about addiction. He stated several times to not read too much into lyrics. Some love songs are about dogs, or children, that's why music is so powerful. Take it for what it means to you and try to not read too much into what it means to the artist.
