I'm Fine is Save Me's reverse mirror song. The lyrics of both songs are connected and written in a figure of speech called “chiasmus”.

I'm surprised no one is talking about Jin's shirt - it was a big deal when it happened! I guess baby Armys don't know? It's a reference to the punk band Dead Kennedys who had the original iconic shirts when they were protesting the corrupt music industry and musician who "sell out" or do payola - BTS was directly criticizing their rivals and making a very bold statement on stage!

I love how Jin so eloquently called out the corruption in the music industry in one of his acceptance speeches. I am becoming more and more impressed with Jin. He seems so grounded, actively works to keep the guys spirits up, practices daily gratitude for the present and never takes the members and their success for granted, while being realistic about what the future may hold. I also loved how the guys all complimented Jin at Festa. That was special.
wow, I never knew. There's a famous fan cam by Apple Tape of Jin after he's performed this. That's where I remember the shirt from.
RM’s verses in I’m Fine and Save Me are actually complete opposite of each other when compared line by line as far as emotions and lyrics are considered.

You should read the Save Me lyrics back to back with the I’m Fine lyrics and you’ll see even more similarities. It’s really incredible seeing how they played around with lyrics to make it similar to Save Me just the complete opposite message 😊
What's I love about them is The way they playing with words like DDAENG/DAECHWITA and ETC And I love how they didn't reuse the melody that already been use but if they re use it Tgey will change the melody a lil bit

@@topato6137 actually, the golden line are the best in terms of stability. Jungkook and Hobi sounds like they eat cd's. Then, Jin and after Jin, vmin. I'm happy vmin actually got better for this cb. I feel this year their techniques are up, maybe at the same level than Jin. I need to listen them live to verify, but I'm happy for them

I love the fact they grab each other in the performance... its.. so heartwarming for me. I feel like they’re saying to others and themselves that they’re here for each other. Even when you’re feeling bad, even when just the word “im fine” isn’t real, there’s people around you. I’m going through a lot in my life right now but bts makes me feel I’m not alone. Even if my “I’m fine” isn’t that real, someone’s grabbing me and being by my side. I really love them.

Did you notice at the end of the choreo how everyone faced Namjoon and he looked back to them. So deep. And how they all “helped” V get up when he fell down - really bringing home the helping each other out theme.

I lovelovelove the concept of Save Me/I'm Fine, at this point I can't listen to Save Me without following with I'm Fine. It's how they mirror each other thematically, musically, even in the choreography 💜 Tae opens the songs very often but I think this one's my favourite. His voice sounds so fragile yet clear and though it's high, it's got the tremulous soul in it as well I sometimes just repeat the opening a few times.

When Tae sings the last line they put their hand on the left side on their chest -the heart- and while everyone is facing right, Namjoon faces left. As a leader, he's saying that everything is gonna be fine to the members. It's like BTS is leaning on Namjoon and Namjoon is leaning on BTS.

Fun fact the im fine instrumental is the save me instrumental backwards but the notes are rearranged to make a slightly different melody (either that or it’s in a different key, can’t remember exactly). In some parts you can kind of hear it more clearly. Also the im fine choreo is a continuation of the save me choreo!

At the last part of I’m fine (choreo) you can see them all place a hand on their heart whilst looking down turning towards one member- Namjoon. They all turn towards him and he does the same gesture but turn towards all the other members.
This part of the choreography is my favourite. The members turn towards their leader, they often ask him to save them but now they can do it by themselves and taking a part of the burden RM feels comforting him that they’re fine now. RM even though he is the leader finds his comfort on his fellow members.
I just want to hug them all this song really is a masterpiece.

I'm always a little disappointed when reactors miss out observing and commenting on the absolutely amazing move in I'm fine during Joon's part where he moves his finger down with a rapid zig zag movement and the other 4 simultaneously mimic that zigzag movement. It's one of the best moments in the song and I've not seen anyone appreciate it until now.
