I usually stay at least a mile away from Air Supply songs until I heard this version of Arnel. His voice here is like a well ironed shirt : crisp, smooth and clean. Only piece of advise is next time, he can sing this without backup vocals. The song can stand on its own with a voice like that.

FYI .. That was at Hard Rock Cafe Manila and gigs of entertainers consist at least 2 or 3 sets during the night. Different groups alternate performing while the others take a break. So AT LEAST Arnel and band would have performed 2 sets during the course of the evening.

Yes! He was taught to sing by his under privilege mom at an early age, all his formative years was joining singing contests :) after his mom died... he was a child living in the street. Thanks to Journey they given this musically gifted a chance of a life time!
