I honestly wanted to become a midfielder but others in my team did not support me quite a much as i am a girl and they tend to envy me therefore i was assigned as a goalkeeper. I have always liked the idea of goalkeeping but still felt it was quite easy. but after a while i realized how hard it actually is! i started watching videos on how to improve and implemented them. i then came across your channel. while seeing your videos i pause them and see your stance and way of diving again and again and try to mimic them in my matches. i wanted to tell you that you are my idol and favourite footballer after CR7. I respect you as as much I look forward to you. i have this kick in me to become a goalkeeper like you. it is not just about your skill but your mindset.
I face a lot of problems in diving, i am a little overweight but my height compensates it to a good extent as i am just 13 and never been into goalkeeping i fear diving and my legs just stop working as soon as i want to dive. i dive quite well without the ball and when alone at home but when i see the ball coming towards me i just freeze. please share some tips with me and please make a video on this too!

If you are worried about scratching (which doesn’t happen often m) then maybe get some under layer pants or just practice some small dives with a ball when you can. I am a fellow goalkeeper and used to be like this too. Hope this helps.

I feel ya man! Just had that kind of game on Friday night. I live in Canada and we playing indoor boarded football. On Friday, we played the last place team and I conceded 2 goals. The ball or the game wasn't in our favour. But yeah, chin up and on to the next match. Cheers

How do you make your GoPro move with the ball?
I play for Wigton Moor u12 and I'm a gk .
I've been working on my diving and distributions.
In the last game I tried clearing it with my right foot under pressure but it then bounced off their attacker and into the goal.
I'm left footed but I defo need to work on my right .
It was one of the worst feelings.

@@OfficialSunsetSkydoes dutch goalkeeper play in any kind of leauge? Plus there is a difference between playing matches,having to use skills randomly.
But on a gk freestyle channel you know what you have to do those might be even a bit scripted.

I've had a tough game too. I'm 2nd gk. The starter gk got injured so I went in and made an instinctive save. It was good enough to nominee me as one of the girls high school athletes of the week. You can really see tho how much gks are underapprieciated that someone who took a penalty is better than a save to win the match.....
If anyone wants to, you can search up in Google girl athlete of the week in Columbus ga and vote there. I'm the goofy looking gk in the glasses.
