I wish someone would make a rts with resource gathering mechanics like in StarCraft with real military units and weapons from any time period. Could even just have it as a game mode. I am curious how this will compare with the latest gates of hell addon.
Welp, some things look nice, most don't. Those tactical WW2 RTS are really stuck in a loop it feels. GoH included, a game straight out from 2003's quality somehow I'm glad we have the Company of Heroes series going strong right now :°
All this kind RTS looks like sudden strike clones. That gameplay was fun 15 years ago. But now Coh system is superior in evry aspect. I wonder why RTS games cant evolve to that.
@@squashedkebab6927 Show me more than one COH clones. (Teritorry flag system, buldings in base(something that is common in c&c but orginal for WW2 RTS) , reatret to base button, cover system etc)
The one thing I'm really curious about. Did they update the voice lines or are they still the exact same from 15 years ago? Played during the open Beta last year and I was instantly turned off by those old and bad quality voice lines... sounds silly, but this is a deal breaker for me.
The multiplayer in Men of War 2 is way better than Gates of Hell. MoW2 has dedicated servers so no more peer to peer lag, it has automatching, ranking, leaderboards, tons of game modes, reward/progression system, customizable loadouts
What Shit Game, just bought on Steam and asked for a refund 10 minutes later, it is just a waste of time and money...have been waiting for this game for a long time but what a bag of shit....
this game and gates of hell yall they are both super fun great campaigns the pathing can suck but what else is new in the rts genre lol. Great sound effects they have doctrines and good factions balance is great as well so yeah i highly recommend them both great games. Has a healthy player count as well,

FYI Hans, you can give orders to units by click on the minimap, also you can draw on the minimap by holding alt key
MOV series are the BEST WW2 game ever exist, the possibility of modding is great.
Learned a lot, can't wait to see the other tutorial videos on MoW2

Is there a first person view for direct control? Or just a top down aiming mode for direct control?
There's 1st person view for tanks, but not for infantry
So regarding the firing range, realism mode is less realistic???

They still have the same sounds but added some new ones that are pretty awful.
How is it compared to GoH? the online of GoH is really laggy hope this is much improved.
MoW2 has options to host the multiplayer lobby using their dedicated servers or peer to peer, so ping should be way better than GoH

Man this game came out of nowhere, I will buy it 100%. I just couldn't click buy on COH3 for the past year, this game looks better to me.

uhh nothing really. Maybe variation in MP modes but core gameplay is a lot worse imo.
