the dynamic range is better in the 11 aswell as lowlight performance and stabelization but the osmo has a smaller size and better price also fast charging and the cool magnetic mount
@@donovanpatron nope low light is better on Action 3 and stabilization is at par no difference at all , image quality by the way its another thing the dynamic range on go pro is on next level
@@sebbodragon depends on if you prefer noise or not I prefer I clean dark image than a noisy bright image so I think low light is better on the GoPro because you can just raise the exposure in post but you don’t really have that option with the Osmo .It almost feels like it’s pre set with exposure compensation 2 stops of light higher than the native iso making the image grainy at night
Sometimes I just don't get what's DJI is doing. Last year they completely rebranded the action series. Only to build exactly the same camera one year later and put it in the old body and change the branding back. I really like the Formfactor of my action 2 and I would have liked to see a refined version of it. With gopro going through the roof with the prices this should be a no-brainer for many people though. What I would like to see is a 360 cam from DJI. With there outstanding product design they should be able to build something amazing. Thanks for the video ❤️
Yeah great review, DJI took the lessons learnt from the Action2. And they bring a time recording table of the different video recording settings by 25°C and -20°C into the specification and details. It sounds they saw my video of the Action 2 about the heating problem and read my email ;-). Cheers DrDuu
I wish the DJI osmo 3 had the same low light as the mini 3 pro. I think Dji missed the mark here but they hit it out of the park with everything else. Great review BTW. Cheers new sub.
My 1st action cam was the Osmo Action 1, and I've banged, dropped, drowned and left it under the sun for hours having used it more than a year now and it still works like day 1. I skipped the Action 2 due to the reported issues it had and it seemed "rushed" for the lack of a better word. I'm glad DJI listened and delivered with the Osmo Action 3. I look forward to upgrading to it when it becomes available in our region. Cheers!
Great Review.Seems like the same camera as the Action 2 just redesigned. I just got the Action 2 about 1 month ago. I don't use it in extreme conditions or for longer period of times. I think I'm going to stick with the Action 2 because I love its unique design
The problems woth this action cam is the dji not given support to the actio 2 !!! And what we have here ? One action 2 to the body of 1 !! Unfortunately this company is disappointed!! Yor video is very good !
As a fpv pilot i loved the form factor from the action 2 and also the image quality for that given form factor but the action 3 doesnt offer anything new for a fpv pilot even not 10bit color (not yet) i think gopro is winning this year with the hero 11 black mini. And still no Gyroflow support, not for the Action 2 and it looks like also not for the Action 3. Meanwhile Gopro allows post stabilisation + hypersmooth.
They're action cameras 🤦♀️ they're amazing. I have gfx, I have gh models, I have gimbals... These tiny cameras in the right hands are better than my best camera in the wrong hands.

It's a shame that the camera picture quality is not as good as GoPro. If it were I would jump on it in a sec.
