Yongphula Domestic Airport is one of the 3 Domestic Airports in Bhutan. It is located in Tashigang in eastern Bhutan, 27°15.465 ´N09130.55´E at an elevation of 8442 ft.
The test flight during the calibration of the installed nav-aid and communication equipment has landed on the airport for the first time in the history of bhutan on September 4, 2011 thereby making it ready for operational.
The airport resides at an elevation of 8442 feet above MSL.
