There is a notable difference in most cases in my opinion. A good effort from Vivo.
I can imagine the hard work behind this video Ben. Recording videos with different phones in daylight and night for fair comparison and editing them together and all. It takes lot of time and efforts. Your work deserves more appreciation. ❤️❤️

The fact the video from x50 is not "wobbly" makes this phone an much better alternative than the other phones.
The stair test shows iPhone makes pulsating footage. Comparing to vivo it looks unprofessional, toy-like.
Anyway, there are not so many scenarios when vivo is significantly better (physics matter), but, to be honest, there no reason not to buy it while that magic gimbal costs absolutely acceptable. I would prefer buying a phone with a camera stabilisation as in vivo and not to worry about stab quality in any case.
The amount of innovation Vivo brings is amazing but they never master their innovation. The likes of apple will just steal the feature, Master it and people will call it 'WOW APPLE'

Yeah, but I know which one Id rather buy. I dont care if Vivo rushes something out the door in a barely useable fashion, like their first UD fingerprint device. Id much rather buy something actually polished. Who cares if Vivo was first when they only do it for the the credit, instead of actually perfecting it.

Love the overall video quality on the Vivo, regardless of stabilization. HDR is pretty solid and SD 765 is doing a great job. Just wish the ultrawide wasn't so low resolution.

I think Pixel just use higher ISO. No software magic there.

Im a bit stunned not just the stabilisation but the quality to.
I am shocked at how good the HDR on the video being shot on the vivo. Like you mentioned the stabalization though better in some scenarios, it's not leaps and bounds better. But this is a mid range phone and it looks like Vivo are on the right track. With a flagship processor Vivo might be able to produce videos of the same quality if not better than an IPhone 11 pro. If they do that it would be mind blowing. New tech is awesome. Again great content. 🙂👏👏👍👍👍

They should do more innovation on their software. Currently their UI is a trainwreck.

On the S10+ for example, you can turn off EIS and just let OIS do it's thing.
