The first few lines of this were so on point. It is strange that people don’t allow their boys to be what they were born. Wild and free. They need to be physical, to explore, learn, and think in the outdoors. That’s what boys are made for. If you don’t guide him and give him constructive ways to channel his strength he will find unproductive ways to test himself. Like I said the little dude is blessed to have a committed father who celebrates what he is and helps him to develop himself constructively. All the best to you and your little mate!
A great example to all fathers with sons.Fathers,show affection to your boys not just your girls , that helps them become self sacrificing men.Hunting for game can teach respect for life and the relative difference between human beings and our fellow creatures precious as they are. My respect Shane!
Great , choice of ambassador #Yeti Coolers . If more Dad's brought their boys up with respect for people and nature , like #ShaneDorian does we wouldn't be having half the social issues we see these days. If you don't hunt , don't surf , don't cast judgement , have respect for others way of life. Keep cool like a #YetiCooler !
I didn't grow up on Hawaii or somewhere exordinary pretty. But i still spent majority of my childhood outside. We have 4 seasons here and it does get cold and rainy but we always found new ways to play outside.. in the Summer we'd hang out at the lake, fall and spring we would play in the woods, built tree houses and just run around..and when it got really cold and it snowed we went skiing or sledding or we built snowmen.. but we were outside almost everyday after we came home from school. I spent my childhood living and experiencing and i would want to change it. A lot of kids here these days, Well ..they play video games (not that we didn't ..) watch videos and they have grown to hate every seasons except Summer because they just don't know that you can still have fun when it rains outside.. man i had a great childhood!
Shane is a great guy, he was always fun to surf with and everyone loved him in Kona when he was Jackson's age. True representative of the aloha 🤙🤙

I'm personally not a fan of hunting, but not for any moral reasons. I think it's fantastic that he's teaching his son all these skills. This little boy can't fully appreciate it now, but he's so blessed to have a father who is involved in his life in this way! He will never forget these experiences and the memories you've created together!

Respect as a big wave surfer, but this makes me puke.
Hunters are more connected to nature than any other people on earth.
