    Love your content, has the rust issue with the pain been addressed? Seems to be a big complaint.

    • @VanBae
      @VanBae  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes! MB extended the outer body and rust warranty for 5 yr/100k, added under body and corrosion and are now dipping the non metallic paints in several more coats... it helps! For the past 4 years, I haven't seen ANYTHING like the previous model years. Early Dodge years and prior to the new body in 2014, horrible, I agree. Do you own a Sprinter?

    If I could meld the MB's turning radius into a Ford Transit, I'd use that resulting vehicle to push the Nissan NV-whatever off of a cliff, and watch it land on the Promaster parked below.😒

      LOL..... Please elaborate, I like where you are going with this but would love to speak more.

      @@VanBae, I work for a DSP and have had the opportunity/misfortune to drive each of those vehicles at least once. They all have their good and bad sides - the Nissan is ugly and just plain pissed me off - but the constant surprise to me was the lack of a decent turning radius of all of them, except for the Mercedes. I'm most comfortable in the Ford, but I like the MB for its convenient pass-through door and thoughtful shelf set up for cargo. The Promaster is only marginally better than the Nissan, but not by much, with the same curiously crappy Cul-de-Sac fails. I'm developing some muscular definition in my forearms and shoulders because of this, so there's that!😂
      Unfortunately, when you have fleet vehicles like the MBs (and some of the Fords), people think it's cute/funny to abuse them in their attempts to defeat the driver monitoring system and other key components, making it potentially dangerous for the person driving it after them, but that's another long story!

      Hahaha you are real funny. How many vans do you have? DSP meaning Amazon?

    • @GarrettWorcester
      @GarrettWorcester Před 3 lety +1

      @@VanBae Yasss, Amazon. The DSP has about 15 "branded" cargo vans (some are out of service for various reasons), about the same number of unmarked "creeper" vans, and 5 step vans.
      Although I love the sound the MB diesel makes when I crank it up, there are rumors that its days are numbered as Amazon's vehicle of choice. 🤷‍♂️

      Well listen, if you do choose to move forward on any more vans I would sure love to meet you. Or if you end up NY I would love to get a video clip to throw up on my Instagram TV at least. Your input is amazing and it’s great to hear all sides of the spectrum. I would agree with most of that myself. Accept the promaster, it’s too ugly to even consider 😝

    If I want to install a soft roll up aftermarket partition is it best to order my van with a plastic partition from the factory and then remove it? Does this make the attachment points there? Makes Install easier or no?

    • @VanBae
      @VanBae  Před 2 lety

      Oh nice, like for van life? No they don't but you can cut the plastic and attach under or button on top

    • @thepatternforms859
      @thepatternforms859 Před 2 lety

      @@VanBae I guess I’ll order my van without the partition then and have the soft partition installed after the fact if it dosnt help having a factory partition. Also, have all the DEF NOX issues been solved on newer models? I want to buy a 2022 van (4x4) and am scared about all the DEF issues and the problems…

    • @VanBae
      @VanBae  Před 2 lety

      @@thepatternforms859 Don't be scared about DEF problems, they should only occur or be an issue if the van is not properly maintained. Sounds like you will be using it in the right way so you should be fine! I have order allocation for 2022 4x4 if you are ready to pull the trigger. Most of us dealers are sold out on 21's and 22's. 21 and 22 are same by the way..
