to be fair, people worship in different ways. Not everyone wants to raise their hands in worship. Some people simply aren't ready to do so yet. What *really* matters is what is in your heart. If you're set on praising God and are honoring him in your actions, you're worshipping right.

That is not true. Germany is full of what you are saying. Search Gebetshaus Augsburg for example. They have continuous prayer, even broadcasted, aiming worship, or dancing worship etc
The bible shows there are various ways of worshipping, and tells us to make/sing a new song unto the Lord in many places - God delights in our heart felt expression to Him alone... If you are lead by the Spirit, He reveals which songs He inspired. No need to fear. (your part is to let go of superiority and pride and worship in Spirit and Truth - whether with a new song, old song or no song, wild dancing like David or calm quiet worship - its all about the heart we offer to the King, biblically speaking)

Was Jesus shy about going to the cross?! That's harsh but for real though, I feel you. Troubled me for a while but I talked to one of my pastors and he said even he has trouble during worship because frankly a lot of churches cater their music to women. For that reason I do appreciate the old Baptist Hymn. Haha I do my best to worship God in the spirit. Whether or not it manifests itself in the physical is not up to me if I have fully surrendered and am willing to worship. I think the most important part is that our souls and spirits move towards and connect with God. Our bodies moving are a possible manifestation but the moving of the body(flesh) does not imply that the spirit is moving. Besides, when you are truly worshipping and connected with God and giving thanks and praise, it doesn't matter what you or anyone near you is doing. You can't worship and praise God while simultaneously judging others or worry about being judged. If I am really feeling the spirit sometimes ill just sit down and bow my head and put all my energy into just being in His presence. If shuffling across the floor does that for someone else, have at it. If I moved to do it, I'll do it. Submit, Obey, and Praise. Cast your whole self aside and just worship. Your only thoughts should circle around how amazing God is. God bless.

I’m Catholic, and for me how I comport my physical body in prayer has everything to do with the context. If I’m at Mass, I’m kneeling silently with my hands joined. If I’m in Eucharistic adoration, I like to sit on the floor the way I imagine Mary of Bethany curled up at his feet to listen. Sometimes I lie prostrate in the Presence of the Lord. If I’m in praise and worship, I like to dance a little! Can oscillate between what you describe as non-denominational or pentecostal. What we do with our bodies during prayer can beautifully mirror the posture of our hearts. 💞

Peter was one of the first shepherds of the flock (Pastors). That does not mean that being Catholic is the one true faith or anything. He was just the first official Pastor that the Lord chose. I love my fellow Christ following brothers and sisters who are catholic, as we all believe Jesus Christ to be our Savior and the Son of God. The purpose of worship isn't for us to enjoy it, though we may do so. The purpose is for us to all be in communion together toward a higher purpose. The purpose is to give to God His worth (worship comes from worth-ship). Sacrifice is worship, not singing. Dulia is not the same as latria.
to be fair, people worship in different ways. Not everyone wants to raise their hands in worship. Some people simply aren't ready to do so yet. What *really* matters is what is in your heart. If you're set on praising God and are honoring him in your actions, you're worshipping right.

I attend a Baptist church, and we worship using traditional music and hymns, not the modern style.
The bible shows there are various ways of worshipping, and tells us to make/sing a new song unto the Lord in many places - God delights in our heart felt expression to Him alone...
If you are lead by the Spirit, He reveals which songs He inspired. No need to fear.
(your part is to let go of superiority and pride and worship in Spirit and Truth - whether with a new song, old song or no song, wild dancing like David or calm quiet worship - its all about the heart we offer to the King, biblically speaking)

I'm a baptist who has never been to church camp, but I DEFINITELY worship like a church camp kid!
Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but he died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things:
1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin)
2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you
3. Confess that Jesus is Lord.
I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! Was Jesus shy about going to the cross?! That's harsh but for real though, I feel you. Troubled me for a while but I talked to one of my pastors and he said even he has trouble during worship because frankly a lot of churches cater their music to women. For that reason I do appreciate the old Baptist Hymn. Haha
I do my best to worship God in the spirit. Whether or not it manifests itself in the physical is not up to me if I have fully surrendered and am willing to worship.
I think the most important part is that our souls and spirits move towards and connect with God. Our bodies moving are a possible manifestation but the moving of the body(flesh) does not imply that the spirit is moving.
Besides, when you are truly worshipping and connected with God and giving thanks and praise, it doesn't matter what you or anyone near you is doing. You can't worship and praise God while simultaneously judging others or worry about being judged.
If I am really feeling the spirit sometimes ill just sit down and bow my head and put all my energy into just being in His presence. If shuffling across the floor does that for someone else, have at it. If I moved to do it, I'll do it.
Submit, Obey, and Praise. Cast your whole self aside and just worship. Your only thoughts should circle around how amazing God is.

I’m Catholic, and for me how I comport my physical body in prayer has everything to do with the context. If I’m at Mass, I’m kneeling silently with my hands joined. If I’m in Eucharistic adoration, I like to sit on the floor the way I imagine Mary of Bethany curled up at his feet to listen. Sometimes I lie prostrate in the Presence of the Lord. If I’m in praise and worship, I like to dance a little! Can oscillate between what you describe as non-denominational or pentecostal. What we do with our bodies during prayer can beautifully mirror the posture of our hearts. 💞

Peter was one of the first shepherds of the flock (Pastors). That does not mean that being Catholic is the one true faith or anything. He was just the first official Pastor that the Lord chose. To help grow the faith and spread the good news of Christ Jesus! I love my fellow Christ following brothers and sisters who are catholic, as we all believe Jesus Christ to be our Savior and the Son of God. While we just kneel and stand and kneel and sit and kneel, repeating rote words, looking bored all the while, our minds wandering. Both groups can learn from each other. They could use a bit of our heritage of art and philosophy, but we could use a bit of their sincerity and passion. Let's not be condescending jerks to them. God wants us to sacrifice, but He also wants us to care. They care. I'm not sure that enough of us do.
