Finally someone who admits they arenât making red bull commercials for a living. This ultra is just going to be another apple release for excel robots to say look at meeeeeee. Iâve got a financed $800 watch under my $19 Amazon button up. Oh and btw ⊠Student loans were so worth it guyzzz. Arenât you glad to pulled 90k in debt by the time you were 21? Oh me toooooo. Letâs go pretend we can afford $6 drinks at Starbucks during break! Sound good!? Yipeeee let me pay for that with my chase card at 25% interest.
It's so weird (and kind of an expected thing) seeing all these CZcamsrs wearing an Apple watch Ultra just because it is the latest and the greatest and the most expensive thing Apple has to offer. Even if they don't need it or it was not designed for them or for their activities. A regular series 8 would have been suffieint for everyday swimming. It was the same thing with the RED cameras, Mac Pros, the Expensive wheels, and the expensive mount, the Teslas, the Airpods Max. etc. They buy 1TB variant of iPhone Pro Max every year just to switch it the next year without even using the full memory ! Just because it is the top-of-the-line model, they want to get it and show it off. It never helps a regular viewer or the regular customer in any way. Most of people can't afford such things and won't be bothered with their everyday use reviews. They always make an argument that it is not for everybody but they continue to get them. They indirectly say, it's not for everybody out there, but it is for us. because money. smh.
Buy a mechanical watch. You won't regret a real time piece.

Iâm good with my series 6 for now. But when itâs time to replace it, Iâll probably go with whatever series/version of the ultra is out at that time. I really wanted the Ultra at first but Iâm leaning more to the 8 with sapphire which unfortunately is the same price. Iâll try both at the Apple store this weekend, but the ultra might just look too ridiculous on my tiny wrist.
What did you think after trying them in the store?
@@SuperYtc1 The Ultra did not look bad to me, but it might look ridiculous from another personâs perspective. My wife didnât think it looked too crazy big on me. I wasnât conscious of the weight but I did feel the crown slightly as others have noted. The ability to read the screen was much better over the series 8. I canât tell that much difference in the text on the screen size on my series 4 versus the series 8 so I ruled that out. My final conclusion is the Ultra or just keep my series 4 one more year and see what the Ultra becomes next year. The 2nd gen of most things usually have some pretty big improvements. For example, the iPad 2 back in the day blew away the original iPad in both performance and design.

I sold my series 7 and now Iâm waiting for my Ultra! I never thought Iâd ever buy a $800 watch but here we are. Buying for the brighter screen, longer battery life, larger screen, and the titanium/sapphire build. I love it so much! Btw 0:07 is one of the best parts of this video.

@@Drkbadger7719 well, I got my 7 from T-Mobile, it was $550. On eBay they are selling for $250-300, refurbished from Apple seems to be $360. I sold mine for $250 to my coworker because I donât have to worry about shipping/taxes/fees.

Your Ultra adventures are comparable to what mine will be, so that was nice to see. I have to wait another MONTH for my Ultra, another MONTH, did I mention I have to wait until OCT. 21st to get my Ultra? Oh yes, that's a month from today. Unless of course, the supply chain breaks forcing me to wait even longer. sigh.
Walk into an Apple store or Best Buy to see if they have stock on Friday (or any day before October 21).

Awesome video, as always! Im thinking about ordering the Ultra this week, while I may not take too many adventures like its designed for, I am a maintenance tech at a condo, so this watch seems like it would be more durable for my line of work. I also plan in the near future, to go ahead and upgrade to the new AirPods Pro 2nd gen, really excited about those because, all th money ive made doing content creating on Facebook, ive been saving for some more new Apple stuff!

Great review! Thinking about getting the Ultra. I currently have the series 7.
I love that Waypoints & Backtrack feature are enabled on Series 6 and later Apple Watches running watchOS 9 which means it's on my Series 7 Titanium Edition which I'm definitely keeping this year.

Love this review!! The backtracking is really useful.
There is another group this watch will work well for that isnât often thought about, that being the vision impaired community. A larger screen, better clarity because of brightness, bigger more tactical buttons and throw in the better GPS that can help within cities this all means a far better experience for using the device and navigating around.
