The interactions trigger by the top card being in play and then the card on the bottom arriving.
Volibear, Janna, Nilah and other cards from the expansion will appear in other region videos as they have other unique lines for when other cards in play first and they arrive onto the board.

I love how volibear is the demigod version of the asshole elderly neighbour kind of people. Im almost 100% sure if he was in this world, he would go to jail for shoting a kid with a shotgun for stepping onto his lawn, than screaming with the corpse about how big of a weakling the younger generation is
fitting, his brother ornn is the cranky old granpa screaming at kids to get off his lawn but actually like them and anivia is the kind old granma pranking both her brothers and gives you candy.
@@severedproxyornn doesn't care that they are on the lawn so long as they leave him alone, but he peaks out to make sure they are okay and not putting their eyes out.

No, many mistake Volibear as being that, but he is not. Volibear would never use a shotgun, he wouldn't even tolerate our modern day societies infact. He is the livivng embodiment of the "Return to Monkie" meme! Even if he was born in a modern country and not some small tribe out there, he would probably find some of the few tribal hunter-gatherer humans left out there and join them and he would at most use a spear when it come to accepting tools.
I like how the joy in Nilah voice always sound a bit forced. Fit her lore perfectly.

He wants ornn to say he was wrong and join back up with him, but after volibear slaughtered his followers, he lost that option.
@AbelMusa nah he targeted ornns followers specifically because they started loving peace and technology and volibear didn't tolerate that.
@@TheMidWaveno they were collateral by the fight between Ornn and Voli. While Voli did say he ask the hearthblood to forge for him, Ornn said they are their own people and would not comply which led to Voli trying to steal infront of Ornn which led to the clash that killed the hearthblood.
Janna's voice is so impactful
She seems very powerful as a goddess with this voice
I personally prefer the old one is more angelic and soft voice it just reminds me to voice of wind. This one reminds a lot of Karma’s.

I love how he’s like “yeah I climbed targon twice” and I’m here questioning if he did or not (if he did I can at least imagine he wouldn’t want to ascend or whatever it’s called)
To be fair, one can climb Targon and still not be chosen to become an aspect, so if the journey doesn't kill you one can climb Targon as many times as desired.

Yeah, I just saw it. However... Its hard to belive he did climb Targon twice and nothing happened, either asscention, either die. As far as I know climbing Targon more than once not being an aspect is impossible, cause there is no truthful record that some one might did it (All this mentioned by Iula in the last story released for Pantheon) EXCEPT for Atreus, who actually climbed not twice but a third time as you may saw in "The climb".
A little disappointed Anivia and Ornn don't have new lines for Volibear
I'm more disappointed that Voli doesn't have lines for them Anivia as an ally. They are still family, and Voli does still care about them. He may think Anivia coddles mortals but he still cares deeply for his own sister. It also seems weird that they don't make Anivia's skill an elemental one. It would work well with Voli.

@@cristodemonte1690no it doesn't. It proves that even though he fights ornn, he's still troubled and regretful over his death. Hence the reason why he says "surely there was a reason" (hes trying to convince himself it wasn't senseless violence) and "surely this is just" (he doesn't know if this is morally correct or justifiable or "right").
Considering how their cards work together i was hoping for an interaction between Tf and Nilha
would've liked an interaction between Janna and Ekko as well

Those interactions between Valhir’s Prophet and Flamecaller Caprine make you wonder whose follower the prophet used to be. It doesn’t necessarily have to be Anivia, it could easily be one of the others that we know very little about like the Wildclaw or Owl spirits.
Nilah having an interaction with Camphor would have been a sweet Easter Egg

I mean, all she did was confirm what Fiddlesticks meant by “First of Ten.”
Fiddlesticks’ and the rework was the one who expanded the demon lore, introducing ‘Primordial’ demons and more mundane demons.

I had a theory that Janna's staff was in fact a object created by Ornn when they were "together". Ornn was Ornn about and called it off two days later and she kept it as a reminder.

I expected more interactions between ornn and volibear just like they did with renekton and nasus
the dialogue is great but i cant help but be soured by how new sets are so self contained and very rarely have dialogue with previous sets anymore, on top of having fewer card interactions overall
oh my god, Janna sounds like a real goddess!!! Powerfull but gentle, I love it!! Like a more mature version.
People are saying "Dedicant of the Challenge" might be lying but I actually believe him. His title means he is devoted to challenges. Mt Targon is one of the biggest challenges ever, so he probably did try the climb.
As for why he did it twice, he probably heard people do it only once.

Last time we got no follower voice line so...
Not much interactions for voli with other champs especially Ornn or the three sisters, but thats okay, we didnt get shit from Xerath and Azir neither

This is making me hope we get Fiddlesticks as a champ. Was wanting demon lore, but maybe him being a runeterra champ will happen. He should have an effect that cancels attacks by scaring them off.

Anyone else a bit disappointed by this batch? They took the depth from Voli's lines, completely disregarded the horror aspect to Nilah and why doesn't Jenna have any interactions with other Zaunite champs?

I like how each of the champs of this set are all divine powers so their followers each represent a different kind of religion.
Nilah basically leads disciples looking for the meaning of life and the secret to eternal happiness, something that she more or less has thtough her demon and preaches passionatel albeit possibly compulsively.
Janna is a benevolent goddess whose followers are people who trust her to take care of them for she is their protector and she offers her blessings to all who ask for it.
Volibear basically leads a death cult with himself as the ender of all civilization and they all speak with contempt for 'weakness'

1: use a voice actor this expansion
3: say some stuff to voli (ornn)
2: the voice actor imitate ornns voice
4: just take the voices and edit them a bit (or edit them to make it deeper.)

Hm i feel like Volibear only has one mode and this is pretty sad, when playing him in league he is a lot more thoughtful here he seams more one dimensional :(.
