Chad I'm sitting here cracking up! You are cracking me up!!🤣😂 Your reaction to this crazy fun song of the Brothers Gibb is..PRICELESS!! It is different..but fun. They did alot of exploring back then. So many different sides to their music. THEY ARE THE BEST.🎶🎶🎶 Thanks Chad for this awesome reaction. It's always a treat sharing the Bee Gees with you. Til next time, take care.😉♥️
Because Robin is the Voice of The Bee Gees
Definitely not!!!
@@nelerhabarber5602 - Why the negativity? Everyone can have their opinion.
Well, Vince said they really liked being a little "different." I'm loving it this morning. ❤
Bee Gees greatest Forever ❤❤❤
Mr. Wallor's Wailing Wall is a fun little bit of exuberant experimentation recorded during sessions for Bee Gee's First and later included as a bonus track. It reflects the type of humor they loved all their lives and was never meant to be considered as a potential single from the album.
Chad, your reaction is hilarious 🤣
This is such a fun song!!😆😆😆😆😆😆
😂😂😂every Song is a surprice ❤❤❤
New song for me! Very interesting and very funny! Thanks Chad for your reaction! I also laughed at the hilarious interpretation, but also at you!
LOL Chad you crack me up. The book “Decades” describes this as ‘vaudevillian with banjo, muted trumpets, trombone slides, and farting sounds, not to mention a variety of strange vocals by Robin’. AND there’s two versions.
The strange vocals were obviously Robin's. The authoritative voice at the end sounded like Mo. How Robin could sing such silliness complete with hen cackling and then sing heartrending ballads sure illustrated his personality that Barry called a dichotomy! 🤪You never knew what you were going to get.
Well the boys could change genres at the drop of a hat! Fun, silly, meaningingless.....take your pick. Robin's voice was quite distinctive and i thought Maurice was responsible for the deep voiced utterances. The other sounds were hilarious, loved the chickens, and the ahem! 'farts' just added to the comical feel. If the Beatles could do the fun/weird songs then the Beegees could do it too. Enjoy!
Thanks for this Chad. Hope you get over the shock soon xx
This was so much fun! Bee Gees just having a great time goofing around. Really enjoyed your reaction as always. Thanks Chad!
I don't know what they were smoking when they made this song, but it's hilarious. I love this song just because it makes me laugh every time I hear it. And yes, I had the same reaction when I heard it the first time. Somehow I hear them saying "Okay, let's make a song in which the people will search for a meaning to no end." Thanks so much for reacting to this!
😂yes! Exactly what I was thinking! They had to have been high on this one but it's hilarious
This song definitely brings out their humor and I think they might've been on some weed 😅 I do love the Bee Gees and I love listening to all their songs This one made me smile and laugh and Chad I love your reaction....it made my day 😂
❤️
Their sense of humor showed up in many places. I bet this was Robin's idea. LOL
Chad, you just made my Saturday morning with your hilarious reaction to this quite "different" Bee Gees song. You've put me in such a wonderful mood on my day off I just can't thank you enough! 😊 And I'm just really happy that MY name didn't appear on your "Shout-out" list. 😊
That's OK Laurie. I made the "Shout-out" list so you're off the hook. The guys were still teenagers and needed to have a little fun to relieve the pressure they were under. Good old Mr Wallor and his chickens. 🐔🐔🐔! Just a bit of fun.
I know that you made Chad's list, Q. I wasn't trying to aggravate you or anyone else on that list. My only goal was to get a rise out of Chad. His reaction was priceless and I actually hadn't heard it in quite a while and enjoyed hearing it again for the same reasons you stated in your comment but don't tell Chad. It will be our little secret. 😊 Hope your weekend's going great.
@@lauriebarnes2999 - I know you were joking. No worries! The secret will be buried for eternity, LOL. I enjoyed when the guys were just goofing around. As I said, they were so young! Chad was left with quite a incredulous look on his face. Enjoyed his "technical difficulties" bit. Would have loved to have been on that plane being entertained by the comedy duo of the two Robins!!! Must have been hilarious. Enjoy your weekend too!
That was fun, thanks Chad!
Chad, w. T. H. 🤯. You gotta love this cause it's so different. 🤣🤣🤣. I wish it was a video so you could see who was doing what. 🤣🤣🤣
They were obviously having fun goofing off in the studio back in the 60s, lol. There comes a time when you get so tired that really weird and funny things come about. So, funny. Obviously they were tired of serious and were just going to give Bee Gees humor.
Geniuses....and thats everything
I was waiting for you to get this one. LOL This would have been a crazy B-side even for the 60's!
Hahaha!! I have loved the Bee Gees most of my life, but that's one of the strangest things I've ever heard!!!
I was wondering when this one would pop up - lol. There is another one call Mrs. Gillespi's Refrigerator or something like that. I think they were just goofing around with these - idk. Brings to mind Beatle's songs like Yellow Submarine and Octopus Garden. I love that you are digging into the unreleased and bizarre. These are musts for super fans.
CHAD, IF YOU WERE SOMEWHAT LOST WITH THIS SONG, TRY HARRY'S GATE AAND SMILING FACE YOU WOULD SURELY LOVED THEM!!!
I can imagine actors on a music hall stage in odd costumes in Edwardian times singjng this. Next the jugglers and dancing dogs!
OMG that’s hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂 I’m sure wacky backy had something to do with this one lol. I love it, it makes me laugh out loud 😂😂😂😂😂
I so enjoyed this reaction! Made me laugh out loud! So funny,
Curious the date on that ha ha ha 😅😅😅
Love Bee Gees ❤
😂😂😂
Yeah, I’m with you on this one. Chad!!!! I did get a good laugh tho!!! 🙃
What a silly song, if you can call it a song. Never heard this before. I'm with you Chad don't know how to react to this one. Thanks for the giggle...lol.
Another oldie I was waiting for. Off the wall? Well duh!!! This is something that would fit in a 1920's vaudeville show. You can't fully know the brothers until you appreciate their zany side. Great singers and composers for sure but also funny and spontaneous. This is so typical of the British comedy that they loved, like "The Goon Show" and "Monty Python's Flying Circus". Dwina said Robin and Robin Williams once did a "Goon Show" skit on a plane and cracked up the passengers. We got a lot of crazy Britcoms in Canada so we are likely more adapted to the silliness in their humour. Remember they were teenagers when they put out 3 or 4 albums in the space of a year so they needed to cut loose and be silly sometimes. I especially enjoyed Mr Wallor's chickens....buk, buk, cackle....🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔Actually, it has a nice bouncy beat....when you can find it.
Maybe this was what Barry once said 'we did some crap songs, as well'.
Clearly just messing around in the studio, and yes very Goon showish.
😮
Thank you Chad😊
It can’t all be meaningful high art like I am the walrus kukukachu.
Fun is good too!
Yes this is the best disco song of theirs 😂 Now that we are on this path, I'd suggest "Paper mache, cabbages and kings". It's a weird title and so is the song with an even weirder middle part. I don't know what the song is about but it's funny.
Fun, huh?! Thanks for reacting! BTW, there's a music video of it too. - Now try 'Mrs. Gillespie's Refrigerator'. Sounds like it a left over from the Magical Mystery Tour!
I've only listened to this song the, maybe, two or three times I've listened to the entire deluxe version of this album. I think you can tell why. I'm just as baffled by it as you are. So, yeah. It's only on the deluxe version of Bee Gees “1st”, which was released way after the original version of it was. I'm sure you can tell why they decided to not put it on the original version. I love your reaction to the song! It was awesome and made me laugh a lot!
The Bee Gee's attempt at a St. Pepper's...
You need to understand the British Goon Show Comedy of the late 50's and 60's to get this the boys as youngsters were highly influenced by them. It shows here.
Influenced madly by the Goon Show! A British Comedy radio show. Lol.
Strange one for sure
It’s a mix between Sgt Peppers and the munchkins from Wizard of Oz. It was the 60s- a different time.
CHAD, I'm as you😂😂😂..PLEASE ....."SEA OF SMILING FACES" , "PAPER MACHÉ"...te volveran a la normalidad😂😂😂😂😂
SIR TRY SEA OF SMILING FACES AND HARRY'S GATE AND YOUR SENSES WILL BE ON TRACK AGAIN.
👍👍👍
I’ve been a Bee Gees fan for almost 50 years and I thought I’d heard every song they ever wrote and sang; but I’ve NEVER heard this one. And there are very few of their songs I don’t like (“Holiday,” “Loose Talk Costs Lives”); but THAT was just God-Awful!!!!! That was definitely “Flower-Powered”!!!!!
Barry the Brain
?
This might have been cute and funny if I could understand what they were saying. I can see what they were going for but, wow. No No No
??????
Maurice is Joker
