I like the horizontal better, but you do you!
I have bought and tried 3 sizes of happy planners, 2 sizes of ring planners, 2 sizes hobonichi and sterling ink, Franklin covey, 3 sizes of spiral notebooks and other lesser known planners and I've settled on vertical TN2 planner with a hobonichi a6 for daily Bible Study notes, passport size sterling ink BUJO for info that surpasses a calendar year...i.e. my health history, places Ive lived, favorite purchases...i.e. instant pot, cutco knives, rug Dr, etc), washi & sticker sources w notes like satisfaction, icon sticker sizes, etc , pet medical history, house maintenance schedules (a/c cleaning, filter changes, repairs, etc) car maintenance history, subscription list ( Netflix, Amazon, readers digest, Sam's Club, Cricut, etc) along with $. Annual pics of grandkids. Birthday, anniversary and rip dates. Love you videos...this one was great.
In my experience it takes 3 weeks of using a planner layout to really find out if it works for you and if you love it. Not just setting up and mocking spreads but using it without a backup or other planning being used along side it. So you can truly try it. I’ve been changing out EDCs this year to test sizes and layouts and I’ve found consistently each time 3 weeks is that sweet spot.
That said - vertical in a SI is much more flexible because it’s SO EASY to make her vertical a horizontal. So you can use the vertical and change up the layout with little effort.

I think you seem more comfortable in the vertical and I personally think it looks cleaner. But only you know.
I use both vertical and horizontal planners for different aspects and at different times. I find horizontal is better for me for wellness and when I need just an overview of my week and lots of lists. Whereas vertical is better for me when I need a more granular view of my week.
I love the Horizontal, it has more options to decorate, while not losing much pace. you can get really creative and not overloaded either. Inspire me please HA !
I like both but I'm always drawn to the vertical as I'm a list lover. And from the sounds of it, you sound more passionate about the vertical xx
Honestly, I prefer the vertical layout, but it could be cause I like vertical layout in my planner.

I think that you perfected the vertical layout and it is different from the Weeks. I am so glad to hear you back to yourself. This is the best that you’ve sounded since Chris is back. A month was really traumatic for you! I don’t mean just that you sounded down, but you were overwhelmed. You have a gem in him!
