I know it’s too late but what you could’ve done for the fishing quests is grab the quest fish, remove it from your inventory, then repeat a couple times so that you can immediately do quests on certain days.
plus if hed done it on journey mode, and done it throughout the playthrough then he may have finished the quests before or as he was finishing the last of the other achievements
Or do what I did and just build biome units at your base so you can easily get to what biome ur quest is at

I not only did this.... I made 10 extra characters and had each of them turn in that daily quest each day
I love the Drunk World Seed, not only you get both crimson and corruption BUT ALSO you get an empty space in the middle of hell (build a WoF arena is so easy) and Bee Hives are huge and easy to use for Plantera Arenas later on.
Exept early game mean s you fall straight to ur death but I see ur point

I finished 99.5% of all achievements in a week. Angler took one year to gather enough courage to finish. Did like 10 quests per day for a month.
now 100% it without cursing lol

I have to say, as someone who actually loves fishing in Terraria, the fact that you did that without banking Quest Fish for repeats both hurt me, and genuinely impressed me. It's objectively the easiest way to do it without Journey Mode or some shit, so either bravo for making the Angler Questline more challenging for yourself, or yikes for not knowing you could do that 🤣

im pretty sure the drunk world seed causes spawn rates of rare items/enemies to go up. Me and my buddy just finished a playthrough on the drunk seed and we were STACKED with accessories. I got the blessed apple on my 8th unicorn, lava feather on our 50th red demon, dozens of obsidian roses, found two lava charms accidentally, had half a chest full of metal detectors, got the rod of discord on my 230th elemental, keep in mind i have 350 hours in the game and have NEVER gotten the rod of discord. But yeah, I think the drunk seed drastically increases rare item drops.
Edit: Oh yeah, got ice skates on my FIRST chest and my buddy got water walking boots before hermes boots.

So um, idk if you knew this but if you catch the quest fish you can chuck it out of your inventory and then catch more and repeat. For every quest fish. It makes the time go by so much faster. It took about 4ish hours to do 160 quest or around that with this in mind. And just literally going to sleep then using the sun and moon dials.

A weird way i found to farm mimics is to find a hill destroy it and flatten out the areas in front of the naturally spawning walls and use a water candle because any naturally spawning wall can spawn mimics
does that also work with the unsafe walls from the shimmer?
@@zekrom2359 that i don't know I made an event farm where a hill in my world was and I noticed mimics would spawn and when I looked at the wiki it said they spawn on natural spawning walls
@@zekrom2359 I do however think the unsafe walls only spawn whatever spawns in the area the walls are found spiders from unsafe spider walls and such I could be wrong but idk

I had pretty much every achievement in the game other than the fishing quest ones before I grinded them out while bored in highschool.
Funnily enough, in my first first playthrough of the new update I procrastinated progressing so much that I got supreme helper minion before entering hardmode

I did the 200 fishing quest in around 3 hours, I published my world with an already caught fish. Imported it, aka duped it repeatedly being able to do 1 fish in approx 1 min.
I like how he was complaining about not getting Hermes boots like it was taking forever even though he literally got the achievement for opening a golden chest while complaining.😑

for me the fishing stuff was easy since i just did a quest everyday during my playthrough and i randomly got it before fighting empress

I only just did this recently too, my first achievement was from 2015... But the last one I had to get surprised me, die to a Deadman's chest. Which was actually more annoying that I thought it would be, since by the time I found one, I was tough enough to survive it. so I had to make a new character and world just to do it. >.< You'd think I would have accidently done it before, but apparently not.

hot take: cleansing an entire large world is not as bad as people make it seem. i got that achievement in a large world and forgot about containing the world evils until late game. (pro tip rod of discord/harmony and biome sight pots. people dont seem to remember biome sight post as much as they should.)
Every world I ever make my experience with the Obsidian Rose is the same. I farm for hours, and finally get one, and then five more on accident. How dare you stumble on one like that 😂😂

The reason you didn’t have to defeat the empress of light was because you only have to defeat the bosses that were in the game when the achievement was added
wasnt an achievement added specifically for empress of light after 1.4 went live?
The kill all bosses achievement doesn't include bosses after 1.4 because the achievement came out before then and then just never updated the achievement after 1.4
Surely u could've used the enchanted moonlight and sundials to skip days to get the angler quests faster

Funfact you know everytime you spawn there is atleast 1 or 2 slimes spawned but my 1 or 2 was pink slime for some reason and thats my first word

also queen bee is the only boss that takes damage from other enemis so queen bee has friendly fire on
you may not know, but the Slayer of Worlds achievement does not require you to kill any bosses that are in 1.4. this is because the achievement was never updated past 1.3.
you know, if you started fishing from day one by simply doing a quest once a day you would've been nearly done by the end without having to do the painful grind
I would gladly do this as I’m only missing 5 but that damn fishing quest one is not worth it
