I've been a Liverpool supporter for 45+ years, every time I hear this I fight back tears.
Born in Liverpool I left for Australia in the sixties as a teenager .Never ever thought they'd come - but they did.
We came out in 65
Bless you!! YNWA ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
The scousers are a nation on to themselves ! A wee enclave of Scottish and Irish rascals in England 🤣.
95,000 fans. As a LFC fan I love this but i love the passion every fan has for their club. Football without fans is nothing
I would love to go to that stadium when is champions league night after covid I'm a chelsea fan
@@timothyhendricks3816 it used to be like every home game but europe has become so much more.
Well said
Well said 👍🏼👍🏼
GLASGOW CELTIC TOO ! !
This is the reason why Liverpool fans are known as the 12th man
@Robert Johnston and??
@Robert Johnston lol who pissed in your cornflakes today pumpkin?? 😅
10,568 miles from their home and STILL the emotion is there!
We don’t need to win trophies to have support like this.
This is passion and love for our club.
YNWA ...... EVER
i am italian and i am a Naples soccer tean supporte, that is well known for the passion and the enthusiasm we put in our anthems, but, no way, YNWA is for me the INTERNATIONAL anthem for every fan
Liverpool supporter here from Gilbert, Arizona! Member of LFC PHX! Y.N.W.A. Great video!!
Im a aussie Liverpool fan, this was great but it can't be the amazing CL game at Anfield when Liverpool beat Barcelona & Messi 4-0
Respect!!!! the Aussies put a damn good rendition in though....nothing but respect, brings many emotions to me as a life long LFC fan
Nailed it mate !
Absolutely top rendition from our Down Under Reds. Proud of you lads. From a 40 years plus devoted North Wales Red.
2005 vs Chelsea was the loudest in European history until besiktas
I don't think you realise how huge the English Pemiere League is globally. Years ago I was in a traditional pygmy seasonal camp in Zaire, isolated by days of primordial jungle. On Saturday afternoon all the men were sitting around a transistor radio listening to a French comentary of 'their' team, Manchester United, playing Everton.
Cool story mimi
i love the MCG, such an amazing ground, always love watching AFL games there, the atmosphere is crazy
I had the privilege of being there that night, and still gets goosebumps watching this. Over 95,000 people there.
I was there too mate travelled from the Alice to be there for a bucket list moment.
@@TheCheeekydog Good stuff.
You gotta love ticking off the bucket list moments, went to Wembley in 2013 when Bradford City made the League Cup final.
One year later I met on Anfield (on a stadium tour) an Australian LIverpool fan who lived in Melbrourne. I asked: "You must have enjoyed that game last year in Melbourne. He looked a bit sad and his girlfrind answered: "No, onfortunately not, he so wanted to go but the tickets were sold out in a few minutes..."
I grew up down the road from Anfield in a place called Kensington (very different to the one in London) so I’ve always taken it somewhat for granted as my grandad used to take me all the time then my mum so you don’t really think how much it must mean to fans on the other side of the planet to be able to sing this song at a match. It’s a once in a life time thing for them. It was only when I joined the army and met people from all over the world did I realise how global we were and how passionate they were.
I know what you mean lad, I’m from Liverpool and went with me Granddad and me Dad from the early 70s and now it’s me and my son and daughter i just love it Y N W A 97
There was actually 109,000 fans at the M C G in Melbourne Australia, where Liverpool versus Melbourne side
95000 is correct, they were playing against Melbourne Victory and won the match 2-0.. An estimated 46percent of fans flew in from overseas.
I was there. Over 90+ thousand and it was amazing. MCG in Melbourne. YNWA
I envy you, mate!
I was there it was a great night, over 95,000 fans mostly Liverpool fans. It was sold out as soon as tickets went on sale. I have been to many big games in years gone by. In the 1970's St Etienne at Anfield then Rome in the Europen Cup Final 1977. That was a very emotional night for all fans especially those that were there. Never seen so many red and white flags. That night in Melbourne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground was the best YNWA I have experienced. I would love Klopp to bring this side back to Melbourne. A couple of years later the did a Pre season tour and played in Brisbane, another great night but not the same as the MCG.
I was at the game. The stadium sold out within an hour of the tickets being released for sale. I missed out on the general tickets and had to pay a premium for the Melbourne Cricket Ckub seats. I reckon there would have been thousands who missed out. There was about 95,000 people at the game. Then you had Man Utd who only had 51,000 fans attend its game in Perth. 9,000 empty seats 😅😅😅
A lot of people from that part of the world emigrated to Australia in the 60s. They still kept their club alligencies.
The truly amazing thing is that 90% of the supporters would be supporting Melbourne, but the love for Liverpool coexists with the local support.
No mate, most there were Liverpool fans first and foremost.
@@martussfrank3903 yeah, fair call. Great moment in sport
Bro that’s one night I’ll never forget I was so happy when I got to watch Liverpool play in Australia
As a lad growing up in the city growing up in anfield going the game week in week out is the heaviest experience you’ll ever have trust ❤️❤️
Absolutely can’t beat that but a lot of the people in the stands that day were born and raised in Australia but had been Liverpool fans their whole lives, a lot coming from migrant family’s, and would have never seen their club play in front of them, and never had the chance to sing YNWA. That’s a pretty heavy experience as well.
Good reaction. Never get tired of this song. Blessings.
As below 95,000 fans. In a preseason game. I worked with Jamie C’s brother and he told us the Jamie went over to Stevie G saying ‘is this the loudest Walk On you’ve ever heard!? Stevie G is on record as he was asked what was the best Walk On. They expected a final or Man U game. He instantly says the MCG in Melbourne 95,000 reds…
AND THIS WAS ONLY A PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY...THINK ABOUT IT, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD???YNWA.
The MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) has a capacity of 100,024. It would have been close to capacity that night. It was a friendly match against Melbourne Victory.
100,000 - for a friendly! Magic!
@@CHRISDABAHIA that’s Melbourne for you :) we love our sport here!!
I should have been there. My friend bought a ticket for the both of us from a year before this matchday and we were set to go. Then my wife got pregnant and my son was due a month before I was supposed to attend this match. I will remind my son of this fact when he's older.
Every YNWA is special and this is one of the best but IMO nothing beats it at anfield
That massive Bob Paisley banner got me in the feels and I'm not even a Liverpool fan, i just love stuff like that! 👍😃
That was our first game in Australia. If ya like this, try this,
LFC v St.Etienne 16/3/1977. Maddest ever Anfield.
The 95,000 tickets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) sold out in 4 hours i believe ! Wow just wow what an atmosphere! The best YNWA ever! 👌
Respect to the man who sang the song YNWA, Gerry marsden who sadly died on January 3rd 2021, this song puts hairs on the back of my neck each time I hear it YNWA ❤️❤️❤️
At the risk of sounding patronising...it's great to see a reaction from an overseas fan who actually understands football..and admits to supporting Chelsea!😂😂..
🤣🤣🤣
Love your channel sir keep up the great work
For the sake of these people, it's worth busting your ass on the field until your last breath! I'm a football fan too (not Liverpool though, but Dynamo Kyiv), so I really felt this fantastic atmosphere to the point of goosebumps
I was there. Brendan Rodgers was the manager at the time. It was pre the 2013/14 season. The match was midweek, Wednesday night, middle of winter in Melbourne Australia. Over 95,000 tickets sold in less than an hour. Match was a sell out. On their way back home, Liverpool stopped in Indonesia and sold out their 80,000 seat stadium. To put the Melbourne match into persoective, pre the 2022/23 season after all the covid restrictions were gone, Manchester United played the same opposition at the same venue in front of 74,000, after a whole heap of tickets were given away to school kids etc. The difference between the Liverpool game and the MU game is almost a sold out Brentford home game. Liverpool's fanbase is massive.
Liverpool fans are 100% like no other fans. The matches are just spine tingling. Fans are everything in football. YNWA.
95,000 ish and Miles from England pal 👍
I swear ynwa makes me want to cry tears of joy. It’s just so beautiful.
Yes ! As a big liverpool fan this has to be the best YNWA , thanks for that
This song is for the fans that died at arsenals ground in the 80s
This lad gets it (channel host). Bravo, mate....
Our pre-season games are different level, everyone who can't go to England to watch games try so hard to get tickets that the stadium is like 90% Liverpool fans no matter what country we go to. We set a new record attendance at our national stadium in Norway when Liverpool came to play here.
The stadium is the MCG from Melbourne (where I'm from) it can fit roughly 100,000 people and it was full. I believe it is the biggest stadium in the world or close to it
I think the Aztec in South America holds 120,000 if Liverpool had a 130,000 which I and a lot of my mates were up for a joint LFC/EFC like Milan as we knew it would have been the Wembley of the north. And would of been full every other week…so many working class fans don’t get to just turn up on a Saturday like it was before Hillsborough. It’s all season tickets and the waiting list is about 5 yrs!
This is why the MCG is the best stadium in the world
I ADORED THIS VIDEO!!!!!! Never seen that one before, but I know Gerry & the Pacemakers (singers from group). That is the National Emblem forever WALK ON, WALK ON, WITH HOPE IN YOUR HEART..............THE BEST EVER!!!!!!
Amazing 😀
It's said that the home team had approximately 100 fans in the stadium all the rest wore red because they were Liverpool fans.
This is great but probably the best i've seen was a video of Gerry Marsden leading them in the Anfield statdium.
Amazing
Once a Liverpool fans
Always a Liverpool fan
Ynwa till die❤️❤️
👍
YNWA
The 97 will never be forgotten❤
97❤️YNWA
@@peterml5574 oh my goodness thanks for the comment it brought attention too my typing error💗🙏
Just glad justice prevailed for most of those involved . ❤️ YNWA
when u know how big liverpool fans in indonesia you will mesmerize
LFC YNWA❤️❤️we da championssssssss!!!
This was pre season 2013. Amazing atmosphere.
It's the MCG. It's sold out. Currently the MCG hold 100,030 or there abouts. But over 100,000 anyway
Biggest export of Liverpool in the last 50 years are Scousers. Left in the 70s... Born and bred.. never forgotten.
Yep between 96 and 100000 playing the local A league club game sold out in less than 20min was part of NSW official support club committee never had so many people after the access code or tickets in my life sadly I was in the pentagon in DC that day and watched it on telly and my mates still rib me about it
This song is worldwide, this was a blessing for them to come to the Pacific or "down under" and I tell you they came from all over Oceania and Asia, Liverpool has a following that transcends anything you believe, he first time we got to hear it in Fiji was on a radio before Liverpool Football Club went into battle and the to now to be able to watch it on the internet.. lol bro if you go to Thailand and Singapore is Liverpool all over, bring it back to the other end of the planet.. the MCG has the ability to increase the capacity
I went to see Liverpool every week with my 4 boys fantastic, the end of the grownd is called the cope, and your about to see what the cope do best
Dude that looks like the whole of Australia!!!
There are 779 million Liverpool fans across the world how do I know that because that’s what they say on the Liverpool tour at Anfield
The best football anthem. I am a Jambo, a Hearts fan, but our great foes Hibernian have a world class anthem in Sunshine on Leith. It is magic when they sing it.
I`m a Raith Rovers fan and totally agree.
The best football anthem period Y.N.W.A we will never forget the 96
Respect to you from a Scouser 🤝🤝
appreciate ya
Melbourne cricket ground ..95,000 - awesome.
Amazing 🇬🇧🇬🇧
The first game of next season when the majority of fans are allowed in is gonna be thrilling 😃😃 CMON U REDS 🔴⚪
I'm a Liverpool supporter and I've lived in Kirkby for 32 years(NOT west Kirby on the Wirral)
Means so much .......
Epic, simply epic
That was a pre season friendly as well lol
Aussies are the best sporting fans in the world!
You should come to ANFIELD. TRULEY AMAZING
There is more but the mcg (Melbourne cricket ground) can only hold 100,024
95,000 Brisbane 80,000in Sydney 90,000 Malaysia Indonesia Jakarta are among 71 million red fans world wide
i'm an Arsenal fan and i love this
The own official Liverpool site said there was limit on the crowd size, and it was limited to just under 90,000 because of safety restrictions. And they had requests from Liverpool fans from that part of the world, not only from all over Australia, but New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, The Phillipines, Indonesia and even from the West coast of the US.
The attendance was over 95,000
this guy didnt even research it was played at the mcg or know there was 96000 fans..by the way i was there and had just walked in the stadium when the song waa just starting..goosebumps
React youll never walk alone in GBK stadium indonesia
love watching Liverpool FC play
Melbourne, Sports capital of Australia. Sure now how to put on a great show.
Reminder to watch the one in Paris on Saturday
In LIVERPOOL ITS A RELIGION. EVERY MATCH DAY THE ANTHEM IS SUNG JUST LIKE THAT ITS A RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My pixilated head, third tier. halfway line row 1, opposite the coaches bench.
I am a gooner but when the Liverpool fans sing this in a stadium and I've heard it live as you say goosebumps
never get oil money to my club , only gerrard and sterling were real starters and they showed up like that 😭
Check out hibernian sunshine on leith
there was 94,500 Liverpool supporters and 450-500 Melbourne supporters, truly superior
4:20 ....exactly
One club one passion
gerrard said that was a moment in his life
Hats off to the scousers, ooops, sorry blues, but lads that was as good as it gets, we sang it together at Wembley many years ago, a site I still remember, there's a pint on the bar lads, howay the lads, toon army.
Imagine being a player stood before a CL match...and knowing they are singing for you and your team mates...I reckon I could run through a tank if I heard that as a player
React to the Wales National Anthem against Ireland czcams.com/video/ZwdZOHm8r-Y/video.html there’s a version filmed from outside the stadium which really shows just how loud they sang it!
95,000
Can u watch best football limbs ?
Check out Celtic v Liverpool Dublin you'll never walk alone.
It’s a very old hymn used at funerals. The lyrics mean Jesus will never abandon you.
All the sources I have come across say :
You'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel.
Definitely widely used after it was written for that musical originally.
