Just received my Dead Pedal, love it. On FIG 2 you reference needing a 5mm hex key. For the kit I received it needed a 4mm hex key. Thought I would provide the feedback in the event you all needed to update the instructions. Great Video and product.

Just received mine no need to remove under dash nut just get a lock washer and wing nut and install on stud over nut fits perfectly much easier ! Great addition to my wrangler . Thank you !
Two year old comment just saved my sanity. There's no room for my impact driver in the JL, and I'm not strong enough apparently to get that stupid nut off. Not sure if they used lock tite on it or what. Didn't think of just mounting another nut on top of a washer. THANKS @desachen! Lifesaver!

Just installed in my gladiator Mojave-15 minutes from start to test drive. This pedal is BUILT well. With this installed and the seat jackers, those long, multi state trips will be much more,comfortable and the dead pedal is also good for,bracing the left foot on the trail.

Doesn’t work in the new 4xe hybrid. There is no mounting bolt in that area of the firewall. Too bad, I really need this.

No, unfortunately it occupies the same space the clutch pedal does on the MT. I have been just placing my left foot under the clutch pedal when I am not in an imminent shifting situation. There is not a lot of room in that footwell area, I assume to provide adequate clearance for large tires and articulation...

why on hard top? does only the front passenger roof panels come off. Leaving the bulky full top (1 piece to b removed) & rear glass shell as a hurdle to big to b done safely by just 1 person. After market has clear 1 piece panel to replace 2 removable panels. So why not hve a 1 piece clear panel over rear seats instead of 1 bulky top aftermarket fix? God

You are absolutely wrong my man. Got one of those Chinese cheap ones that are a bitch to install (did not know about the Quadratec one) and it changed my driving experience positively many folds. Also great to put weight on your foot when farting, thank God I got leather seats!
