i quite like the animations and designs of the new cannibals, the only problem for me is the sounds they make- they dont seem as impactful as the hoops and hollers of the og ones, but i can forgive them since the game is still in development i just hope we get better calls in the future.
i got a reason why cannibals in sotf aren't scary unlike in the forest. Sotf cannibals have visible eyes that makes them look more human while in the forest eyes are dark literally non visible. The sounds, sounds of sotf cannibals are high pitched while the forest they sound like a fuckin monster (that's the reason why i'm scared of them). Health and damage, sotf cannibals have high damage but low health while the forest they have lower damage but more health. that's the reason why sotf cannibals are trash.
@@jelenski69 I agree, back in the forest you really had the feeling that you're fighting scary, much stronger "humans" than you are and they were very uncanny. In sotf i feel like Im the superior being and the creepy factor has been lost. Also having almost no ranged cannibals while the player has moslty op ranged weapons and having a joke survival damage feels like the player is the boss of the game.
I totally agree: cannibals in caves had white eyes and most of the cannibals had black eyes, just like muddies in sotf... Maybe that's why I love their design
I think that Frank is a very non realistic, stupid cannibal. I would've just kept the molotov throwing cannibal instead since the game lacks ranged cannibals.
Hes not stupid or not realistic, It can be that thats like a tradition or ritual for the cannibals to sacrifice themselfs to kill you, Like the Japanese suicide planes

I’m hoping they get stronger units or bows because just one shot to the head and they are dead. I like all the new types.
I rarely get to see the animations naturally in game because the cannibals have to little health by the time you fight, theyre already dead in 3 hits.

We have muddies who throw rocks and the spear cannibals, i do wish they added the fireball cannibal back. But oh well
