My wife left me 8 days ago. And I deserved the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. Because I took her for granted and let petty things come between us. She was over and done. But I just talked to her for hours on the phone and sent her this song and we remembered our most precious memories in the last 18 years and I felt hope out of nowhere in our love and then the closest thing to pure joy short of the Holy Spirit. This is my parents' song! Their first date was a Randy Travis concert in 1988 - the story goes it was supposed to be a whole group of their college friends, but one by one most of them had to back out. My husband played this song for our wedding ceremony when we 18 and 19 yrs old. 👫❤💍Going on 10 years of marriage!!
This used to be my grandpas favorite song and he used to listen to it on repeat all day long, sadly the last time he played it was on his deathbed fighting liver and lung cancer in august of 2017. I’ve now took his job of listening to it and showing the family how many memories it truly holds for us and to show how much we’ve grown.

This was "our song" from the time it came out. Today I tried to sing it and finally realize I can no longer sing. I was told in 2013 I could have surgery to fix by the surgeon who performed open heart surgery on me.
