@@HotRocketBengalCats Domestic cats are by nature lazy and fearful to go out unless they are feral, but your cat seems to love stretching his legs. Marvellous photography & a joy to behold!
@@Felatelist Thank you for your kind comments! Pixel does seem to enjoy the trips out although we've not done for a while. It's always a challenge, navigating trees and trying to film a cat that doesn't go where you want her to :)
@@HotRocketBengalCats Very unusual harness as well. Better take out a patent before someone else mass produces them! My son's cat is also named Pixel though not a Bengal like yours.
I bet that cat felt like a lion walking around those woods! She is so very beautiful - they all are. I think the cat took the human for a walk, not the other way around!
This is true, I go where Pixel wants to go mostly! I'd like to move house to an area where she could do this. I reckon she'd be quite happy up a tree :)
Finally did it! Only took a year! Thanks for dropping by, I'm hoping the next ones don't take anywhere near as long - felt like I was learning it all again lol. I have a new camera which is lovely and used it for the intro shots. Thinking about a talking video next since the first one has a million views :o
Ah yes I think I would worry too much as well. Better to be safe than sorry with Grayling! Thankfully the UK is generally free from danger but random dogs have caught us out before.
It took a few tries before ours were happy to but we haven't done so for a long time now. It's not for every cat and we did have a scare once when a dog was out early and off leash. I guess Hairball is just too independant :)
Thank you, I've missed it! Going to try and do at least 1 a month now although there are lots of short videos I plan to do too. These 10 minute movies take a lot of hours to get right!

Thank you! Apologies that it took so long but I'm getting back into the swing of things and we didn't stop recording, there's just an awful lot to sort through. I could be going for years even if I don't record any more!!
I had a black smoke as tall as Pixel. A bit leaner. He was an indor/outdoor cat. Always had a bird, mouse or rat. He did not meow in his carryer. He had a high pitched yowl would drive you mad. Guess he didn't like it much. Lol would not wear a color either.
I think our kitties have had a few too many biscuits! They are a little leaner these days - Rocket is the one that ends up eating everything. I miss the yowls from when they were younger but it's been replaced with a higher volume of meowing overall!! Bengals are lovely but if you are not used to the noise... :)
Hello! Sadly they are no longer available as they were purchased from a small seller on eBay several years ago. I do look from time to time and have seen similar so it's worth keeping an eye out on there :)
I'm not sure how it happened haha, we just started calling them food names instead. Pickle instead of Pixel and Soupie instead of Sushi (OK that was already a a food name!). Rocket is still Rocket although we do call him a pain in the butt too.
Thank you, apologies for the lack of posting. It's not for lack of footage.. you know it's bad when you have to create a huge spreadsheet just in order to find the content!

For food we use Purizon, Applaws and Orijen dry biscuits and Bozita and Granatapet wet food. We buy from the Zooplus site.
Haha I don't know, I think she was a bit skinnier then so her head does look big. She's probably our most intelligent Bengal so perhaps she needs all that brain power :)
Hi there, initially they protest and skulk around but after 10 minutes or so they are used to them again. We don't use them very often these days, not been out for ages!
Hello there, I love your videos and want my Bengal to enjoy the same active lifestyle. Is there a particular brand of harness that you recommend? I am having some difficulty in finding one that I trust. Thanks.
There isn't really and I think I would probably get different ones now. Rocket escaped from one once when he was spooked by a dog so if I was buying again I would go by customer reviews on places like amazon or zooplus. Sometimes theoretically good items prove to be a bit lacking but personally experience counts for a lot! Hope that helps a little :)
A cat can get out of any harness, even expensive custom made ones. I have heard from many many cat owners trying to walk their cats & their stories with their cats getting out of their harness. Cats are very flexible unlike dogs. So, there is no harness with 100% safety. To actually avoid a cat getting out of a harness is by behaving the correct way (using the leash a certain way etc.) & training them correctly, then a cat can't or rather won't want to get out of the simplest harness. I walk my 2 cats together for over 10 years in a simple harness...they never got out of it nor tried to run away. And that's because of a lot of right training & me behaving correctly in situation where cats could spook. So, you can't buy 100% safety, but you can train it.
@@TravelersGarden_dgdr hey i know my comment comes a bit late but we are getting a bengal cat and we want to take her out for walks too. The problem is there are many dogs. So i want to ask what do you do when you see that a dog is coming towards you and your cat?
@@giovannigiorgio2256 I have made tutorials about walking cats, there you can find every info you need. Btw...I have a Bengal too. She is 6 months old. She goes on walks with me & her other 2 cat buddies (my siamese & burmese).
I know what you mean and I think that may have happened in the past. However as far as this particular video is concerned, Pixel acted aboutt what I would expect for her - she is very talkative and will do this at home, especially when I talk to her. As it happens we take them out much less now (it's been about a year) as I do worry about incidents and their safety (we have a lot of dogs over here in the UK and keeping them on a leash is not a legal requirement).
@@HotRocketBengalCats I see what you mean about the dogs. But when it comes to doggy psychology, it always seems like the big dogs taking a liking to cats. Especially kittens. It's the smaller ones you have to be concerned with. It always seems like the smaller the dog, the bigger the attitude. Cheers.
This makes sense - an incident we had with our snow boy was with a smaller dog - thankfully he just wanted to play but at the time he was chasing like he might have wanted a meal. Was a bit tense! Anyway take care, thanks for dropping by.

Hi there, sorry I didn't get a notification for your message for some reason - yes they are both sisters from the same litter. I think it's hard to say who is the most vocal these days as all 3 can be very loud :P Rocket is still the most constant I think and that's because he is always the most hungry haha
Why a leash? A few days ago I also took a stroll with my cat to look at the horses in the meadow. No leash needed, he follows me. That's the advantage of bengals.
For safety really - dogs are free to roam here and we were caught out once before where an owner was really far away. Nothing bad happened but Rocket freaked out and it scared us. I've known dogs to eat cats from stories that we have told by friends so we tend not to take them out much anymore.
