btw sorry for no flash protector , my premiere crashed mid encoding and I had to re-do the video and I forgot to re add it close your eyes!
I don't mind, it's really not even bad lol and I'm watching in the dark. Keep up the good content.
Great vid. Would you do a video with edged weapons only? Bomblance (the harpoon counts), combat axe, throwing knives, tomahawks etc etc.
It’s fine I got low brightness anyway
Aaah i love you hornet but my eyes dont 😂
I found that the best way to never have to do the climb back up to 6* is never get to 6* in the first place.
That's what I tell myself at least.
Ok?
absolutly correct
I love the 3 bomblance rednecks, it's nice to see people playing just for shits and giggles lol
I actually felt bad for them :D
Huh? Bomblamce is good, just average random doesn't know how to play it and just melee rushes or corner camps.
Bulwark + Determination + Adrenaline + Whispersmith + Quatermaster for a Spring or Obrez and 2 Ammo boxes and you go wipe servers with strong map and mind control.
Shit is insane, the counter for getting harpooned is having Bulwark or rushing bomblance to blow them with you. However, if the Bomblance has Bulwark it counters.
Moreover, it let's a Bomblance push through their own harpoons. Adrenaline kicks in and Determiantion boosts the speed to keep stamina topped off so you pack only regen shots. Vigor is a plus here too.
Spring and Obrez are for countering the lance weakness of ranged combat.
Loadout is super fun and oppressive as hell, it gets more oppresive with a good team and Resilience for the life insurance with the big small big small health bar setup to keep 125 health on downs.
@@amauriherrera6022 “the bomblance is good you just need to use another weapon”
@@toxicparamite huh? All loads have side arms, you can play without Quatermaster if you can snipe with a pistol like Hornet does, by all means be my guest. Or grab an Uppercut but *scoffs* its 400~ and a lance is 200 💀
I just said Spring or Obrez because they have best stats for medium size and long range guns and can outperform a pistol outside of spamming shots and have a more competitive price on the Bomblance.
I mean if the harpoon didn't have realistic ballistics and you could snipe with it like a bullet then sure, it would be most op weapon in the game, but sure why bother with a sidearm.
You could say the same thing about a shotgun: its good, but not really because you need a range precision weapon since the enemy is not pushing into your shotgun range/crosshair...therefore shotgun sucks. That's what you sound like dude.
Bush sniper sus
@@amauriherrera6022 I prefer to just inject speed and facecharge with flash bombs. If I can't do that, my Scottfield always bails me out. If people want to range me that's fine, I have legs :D
I'm a pretty decent 5 star, but sometimes bouncing between 4 and 5 regularly. I think 4 star is the best MMR of this game, for me it's a great balance of competitive but you can also be goofy and play with troll builds and still have fun. Maybe that's how 6 stars feel about 5 star, but when I'm approaching that high 5-6 star MMR (especially with a friend who is regularly 6 star) it starts to feel SOOOOO sweaty, and everyone brings meta builds and it just stops being fun.
I only play with randoms, which makes 5 star MMR the most fun to me. In 5 stars my teammates are much more reliable. I don't always have to check if they are holding an angle, giving cover etc. In 4 star MMR teammates are much more likely to run away or don't push with you. (5 stars are more likely to ragequit though :D) The two times I played 6 stars were very mixed. One match was the embodiment of the meme, that 6 stars is full of sniper and another match was quite fun, even though I couldn't really hold my own.
I float between 5-6 star about evenly. I just go in QP to scratch that fun, laid-back itch. You get so many bonkers fights out of nowhere in that mode. Crazy traps around, fire & poison bombs actually being thrown at you, fooling noobs with blank fire decoys, scrounging gear mid-fight, being chased by 5 players around the area when you have wellspring. Love it.
You start running into sweat lords, playing from opposite regions getting that hunt ping advantage.
@@MACHLoeCHER I only play with randoms as well. As soon as I get into 5-6 star match mmr territory there is guaranteed to be one guy with a sniper BARE MINIMUM in the match... and otherwise years&years supplies of long ammo, uppercut, lebel marksman, you name it... The teammates also will disconnect immediately upon dying once i guess because they don't care about winning if they already lost their kd... But there are some fantastic teammates here aswell which can and will carry u to victory.
I quit hunt for a long time because I was dying CONSTANTLY to long ammo, slugs, spitzer, etc. I came back to the game because I watched some hornet videos and decided why not. Still dying to long ammo and slugs often but not every game anymore. I love the middle 5 star range of the game. Feels pretty competitive and I can still perform with goofy builds. My favorite lately being bomblance steel ball + nagant officer high velocity. You don't have long range but the HV lets you hit further than you might expect. Obviously the bomblance itself is just really good with steelball at pennyshot range.
Hornet it is so refreshing to see that this doesn't go away no matter good you get at the game. I used to think that on days where I went from 5 down to 3 that i was doing something horribly wrong. Good to see bad luck doesn't just happen 2 me
great video Rachta, I liked this new format! still nothing when compared to Hornet's format but good job!
it's the thought that counts i guess
This is Hornet.
@@Furyheart I believe it was a joke.
Hornet your editing just gets more & more charming thank u for the content as always 💙
This is probably my favourite video you’ve made. You have the best hunt showdown CZcams content for sure.
I feel you! The first minute pretty much summs up my experience as soon as i get close to 6*
I am happy to see creators also have the problem of dropping time to time Went from High 5 to high 3 climbed back up to high 5* tbh it gave me a reason to play the game more a grind back to the semi top
Bro first time this early but am glad to seen when am having a badddd day i come back and u have the same days as well cause hunt can really trigger me but i can't stop playing also love the content like always man much love ❤😈
your vids are honey to the eyes, keep up the good work, insane aim
I feel the beginning hard. I'll be on a great run, sitting at 6 stars (unfortunately) but winning games. Next thing I know someone who's only played for 80 hours head taps me from 85m 15 games in a row and I'm in the 4 star pool. I commend your ability to stay seemingly calm. I rage at this quite regularly after about 5/6 games in a row. GGs hornet!
Hahaha same shit with me 1 day complete domianation 6 -7 kills per game and than next 3 days just dying from people with 39 hrs with running heads shot dual conversion 70+ m
Same
Love your new videos with the intro "narrative," keep it up dude!
the worst thing about dropping through the ranks is how different the playstyle generally tends to be, especially when playing with randoms you just NEED to adjust, playing like you are in a 5 star lobby when you are in a low 4 star one means you will generally be the focus of the enemy team while you teammates play bush in the worst situations, at least for me this often leads to a downward spiral where im just trying to figure out what works again.
Ah yes, often when I dropped to 4 star I would meet these players. I would move toward a location, saw enemies, start fight, down two enemies, and then pin toward the last enemy ,expecting a team push, but I will then realize there is just silence and look back to see both teammate somehow decided to retreat 50+meter and hind behind bushes. It is astonishing how often this happen. I would rather 1v3 than having these teammates, at least I won't have the false expectation of having someone that would do any kind of teamplay.
@@YunH827 feel you
I've also went in a downward spiral from 5 stars to 3 stars, It's a fucking pain to deal with especially when there are more bushwookies and campers in 3 star than in 5.
@@loskar9085 People get conditioned to hiding in bushes when they come up against someone who kills them without warning. It scares people. It's annoying as hell that they will just run back 100meters and wait in the bush instead of making valuable teamplays just to get them out of the way. People who don't trust their aim or skills hide in the bush because that is all they have, baiting teammates and bush bushing.
That beginning was the ultimate hunt taketh.
Its nice to see that even the pro's have these kind of days.
Thank you for this video, its good to see that even some of the best players have days like this. Videos like this makes me feel less shitty about myself when I have bad hunt days
You've taken these words right out of my mouth. I couldn't have expressed my thoughts any better. I am a 5 star cowboy in reality but without a regular team in HUNT, I tend to be less than that.
I like the format
Yesterday i saw ur stream and was sorry for u for the big amout of unlucky deaths, i went in the bayou by myself and also had sad matches.
But today i got back to my 5 stars matchmaking mmr
Great video
Never give up (even if the lower mmr guys are just camping)
14:18 what an accidental LEGEND lmfao
I dream of one day reaching the lofty heights of 4 star lobbies.
LMFAO at using the medkit at 34:36
the beginning is literally me very day lol
vigor + regen really gets my goat for efficiency i love it so much
I had the cheese touch last week. Looks like we both passed it. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who gets it. I feel better now. Lol thanks for the honest upload.
My journey sometimes catapults me to mid 5 Star and then sometimes in the blink of a few matches back to 3 star. Especially the random team mate experience varies then a lot. It can sometimes be so frustrating. But also soooo rewarding at times.

hunt showdown giveth and she taketh away. truly a cruel mistress! banger video
great video hornet :D hunt can be rough.
i stopped chasing those stars a while ago. The mmr doesnt mean a lot in this game. Maybe its because of the small playerbase i dont know but sometimes you rank up like crazy with just 2-3 games. i keep it hidden and just enjoy the game (ok sometimes i check because im curious haha)
the way you gain and lose MMR with solo modifier (facing lower elo duo/trio and BTW they can kick your ass hehe) this system is indeed not made for solo players
Yeah the mmr in this game is to be taken with a grain of salt. It is so easy to move your rank either direction whether you just had a few good games or bad games. I’ve seen brand new players at 5 stars and prestige 80s with 8k kills and decent kd at 3 stars
@@beef4847 yeah its just show your last streak indeed
Im on 6k hours and i can drop to 2.5 solo mmr and return to 4.5 even 5 de same day
Even after so many hours i just dont care and shift + w ... slower player are rewarded to ambush me when the boss is across the map hahah
I know this will get me flamed by some but objective reality is sometimes hard to face:
The only stat that you can really use to gauge how good you are performing is your KDA and good players generally don't even care about their MMR past a certain point. In general, good players will keep themselves in 5* at all times while dipping into 6* consistently for reasonable amounts of time during streaks. Extremely rarely will they dip below 5* but it can happen during an unusual and unlucky streak but will quickly adjust back into 5*.
The standard that good hunt players usually start KDA's at is usually around 2.1x and has recorded a reasonable amount of kills and time into the game at this point (around 1000+ hours, 2500+ kills is a good start but some more competitive players would argue more is needed and 2.1x is not that good). This would put you with a naturally KD ratio of around 1.4 - 1.7, depending on how many assists you have accumulated, which is respectable (it could be different, I have seen someone with a 2.13 that had a 1.9 natural and barely any assists while someone had a 2.33 and had a natural of like a 1.65...it all depends).
Anyhow, these players ^ can hold an MMR above 5 at anytime and can get a 6 and hold it for a reasonable time on good days. If your goal is to "chase" numbers, this is where you begin because MMR is not really the stat you look at for improvement. I think you should only do it if improvement and competition are something you have fun with...if not then don't bother worrying about any of this and just have fun :)
pretty nice to see then not only me feeling pain
Hahaha yesss I keep going between 5 and 3 and hitting 3 makes me so mad lol glad to see even the great hornet drops 2 stars some days. Ty ty
Haha lol, nice idea and execution with that losing streak montage
rare hornet commentary

Man I enjoy playing trio in 3 stars, just going around killing people as crazed gunman with dual revolvers. And then slowly I get to 5 stars and the camping starts and everyone is so hardcore its not fun anymore.
This video is so relatable
Bro I'm so glad I'm not the only one that has bad days like this. I have these like once a month. I go from 4 star to 2 back to high three
ddat dynamite shot wa\s unreal papa hornet
its kinda nice to know even the top level players have slumps
Can't believe guy shot the dynamite bundle you were cooking.

Best player, IMO.
Glad u sometimes experience the game how it is for the average player too lol
best 2 moments of a week:rachtaZ and hornet, now one is done

Lost about 7 games in a row and deranked pretty hard. Now to climb up again haha
Another hornet vid=more breaks in class for me.
Saved my day !
looks like my daylie hunt experience
relateable content
the fucking conga line of bomb lance rednecks was the hardest I've ever laughed at hunt
This is a relatable post, I'm normally a 5-6 star but we always have those shit days where hunt only taketh 😞 I never get low enough to hit a 4 star, my match mmr usually goes to 3 that's about it. I'm sure if i ever hit 4 again I'll just wipe the lobby and get back up 😊 hunt has its days..
Ah dang, the one time you play at my MMR, and I’m taking a break from the game for finals.
Hornet the day we meet it will be a difficult exchange to know who will come out alive .
I love to see it simply because this is what happens to me typically on Hunt lmfao
Now I finally know how it would go against mr Hornet.
I did confidently leaved a like at the moment I heard TF2 music man love that flashbacked me
I'm glad it's not just me.
I’m a pretty new player and one e I started playing I shot straight to five stars and got real close to six. But recent just dropped straight back to 4 and now iv realized the main cause of me dying so much is I’m trying to fight people in the worst positions.
Those "typical 5-6" star lobbies you faced are the exact same that I've been facing in 3 star(!) lately. Full teams of snipers who sprint the opposite direction every time you try to push. I swear 8/10 of my last games had minimum 2-3 sniper teams each game. So annoying to fight against. Give me shotgun campers over them any day.
This was such a refreshing video to watch it really shows the luck involved in this game
Im gun with gunplay and that stuff, everything that involves pure combat is ok with me, except by tracking people through walls and buildings. I don't know how you do it so accurately, it's amazing. Im currently at 5* sometimes going down to 4 ½ and up to 5½, if it weren't for my high ass ping i think i could be higher, i swear that trading with someone i killed 2 whole seconds before he shot me is disgusting, and it happens so often and i dont know why, it used to be rarer, and my connection has been the same for years.
Also, i only have like 3 months of Hunt experience, maybe add a month or two since i played it 2 years ago for a few months, not more than 2. I enjoy it a lot, love it's dark, old westernlike theme, complex gun and tools system, and dedicated sound mechanics, maybe lately the trading bullshit has been annoying me, but i still love the game
the mmr in hunt is so nuts sometimes, dropped from high 5 to mid 3 and then in about 3 games was 5 again
I’m right there with you, last week I had a night where we won 5 out of 6 games, each with multiple kills in trios (one was a 10 kill win, with me getting 4 of the 10). The next night I hopped on and lost the first game and suddenly I’m in 3 stars 😂. I’ve only been 3 stars like twice before, I don’t even know how it’s possible that I’m there again a day after winning so many games.
8:19 how did you even see that guy 😂
We were the second Team at 4:32 and fought the first team for a while. And yup at 06:15 exactly my thoughts back then...
I find that I fall into a weird pattern where I'll be doing really good for like a week straight and then the next week I'm playing like its my first time playing an fps. Hunt just be like that
Perfection
I basically only play Hunt in premade duos or trios, so perhaps my experience of the game is very skewed, but my group will seesaw between 4 and 5 star over the course of a session of playing. Occasionally one of us will drop to 3 star because that person is just getting dumpstered for whatever reason.
While it is frustrating to get headshot immediately, either without warning or with some minor warning, at least we can chalk that up to either luck or the other player just being better. It does seem, however, that the higher you get the more often you find people who play the game in increasingly obnoxious ways. We often just have to reality check ourselves and make the call to try to beat them at the game they want to play, or straight up leave the match. It's much easier to leave the game against people who fill the entire boss lair with concertina and sit in nearly unbangable positions than it is to do so against a team of 3 bush bongos with sniper spitzer.
We're all around 300 to 400 hours in the game, and I think it shows. We've got guns and loadouts we are very comfortable with, and often times when we use those loadouts against similarly skilled players, we dominate. When we move to loadouts we use less often, we become more hit or miss, as expected.
Probably the hardest matches to play are games against people with far more time in game than you. I have about 300k bounty earned. When someone severely outplays us, either with wall bangs, positioning, map knowledge, etc., and you see that they have something like 3 million bounty, and are also the same rank as you, well, WCYD. That's Hunt matchmaking I guess.
I went from 5 to 3 about two weeks ago and only just yesterday crawled back up to 4. It's nice to see my favorite creator has been having the same problem. Sometimes hunt is just rough.
No disrespect to you and no flame but if it took you 2 weeks to climb back from 3 star bacl to 4 and you dropping from 5 stars to 3 stars you probably shouldnt have been in 5 star MMR to begin with. thats crazy to hear, even dying all day on a ultimate bad day iv never dropped like that. this is coming from someone that doesnt even have 400 hours in the game and im a consistent 5 star.
@@idolized dude I get like two games a day, I have a life

Im happy that I could go from 3 to 4 * by playing solo (then back to 3 but still :D)
this is porobably the most balanced competitive game at the moment. No op guns to cruch with, just skill, anything can work if yk to shoot and notice.
Strongest chain pistol fanning user: 19:07
That’s usually me, except after dying 20 times in a row without a single kill and going to 4 star, the game decides my next match should be 5/6 star opponents. 🤷♂️
what i dont understand is how people can dominate at 5 stars for al ong time then have one bad day and go down to 4 stars. Is it based off weekly performance or what?
I have yet to make it to 6 star mostly by lack of patience. It’s nice down here in the 4-5 star range, where I can play very aggressively instead of hiding in bushes 70+ meters away and not be constantly punished (apart from when I’m doing so in random trios and find out my teammates have yet to enter the compound I’ve been fighting 3 people in for the last five minutes).
The higher 5 star lobbies all play the run-away-until-a-fight-is-perfectly-optimal game and I would much rather a nice aim duel challenge.
…Unfortunately, the people who *are* in 6 stars and don’t play like bush wookies have mastery of the dodge/aim movement that my smol monkey brain can’t comprehend
Hornet would fall into this category, I think. With all the map knowledge he has his gun skill is amplified by a ridiculous amount, and he doesn’t play the long, run-away-constantly game (at least in videos and the one or two streams I’ve caught). I respect his playstyle and even moreso his aim and pray not to meet him in the bayou lol
TL;DR - I’m too bad for the high-level aggro plays and too impatient for the not-aggro ones, so I watch Hornet to learn tricks that better me at the former.
I suck at this game, but damn it's been fun to play
I just seem to stay stable at 5 star and then sometimes randomly will have six stars for 2-3 days then back to 5 stars again. Best games at at 3-4 in my experience 😊
People in your 5* lobbys play like the 3* lobbys I had. What server is this?
this intro was so cool
QP and solo bad streak you lose MMR pretty quick hahaha
when its happen embrace that fun elo territory :)
how much days, its took to drop to 4 and back to 5.5 solo mmr ?
my record is 5 stars to 3 stars and back to 5 stars in one session hehe
The clips in the first minute were infuriating.
I swear, I had enough time to eat a 10-course meal in the time between when you shot or got behind a wall and when you died.
11:01 Isn't that the most beautiful thing we have seen in Hunt? 3 Rednecks with Bomblances storming a building 😅 👍
14:20 that would've scared the ever living fuck out of me if I was playing. I jumped hard from just watching.
I cycle between 4.5-6 star like the phases of the moon.
Are you gonna grind the new event hornet?
Nah im gonna quit the game in 12 min
yeah, for myself, i get 4-5 stars by using a bow/crossbow. then when i decide to use other weapons i fall to 3 stars. use bows again, 4-5 stars
nice to know i am not the only one lol
i DO want to get better, but i hate the gameplay at higher tiers, so i really dont wanna go fat 4 stars at the most
Me and my buddy the last week lmao
I have only 1 Problem with the New Army... and that is that I cant prefire headshots with it... it just wont work xD
First 10 mins of the video, what pistol is that? Thanks
New army
Man in lucky to stay in 4 starts. SA is pretty empty with the release of CoD right now, so there isn't much people on it. And yesterday the servers were down anyway, si I haven't been playing anyway.
I went for 6-5 stars to 3 some months ago, and never was able to get 4 stars back sad
What bothers me the most isn't the ranked system but how it works. I managed to get a game where I killed 5 people 5 star same rank as me, died once to a 4 star and still dropped like 20 mmr.
They call it mmr system but pretty sure it's just random numbers everytime.
And here I am balancing between 3 and 4 while my friends are 5s...
I remember when I used to be three stars....
obviously there aren't hard numbers for this but in your opinion, if you just made it to 5 star from 4, how many 5 stars do you have to kill to reach 6 star?
I've never made it to 6 but I've felt incredibly close a few times after having a really good night but it's so hard to tell..
the climb is definetely a lot higher than from 4-5. Getting 6 took me a streak of INSANE matches to get.
Its hard to tell really but quite a bunch haha
15-20 hunters back to back. Wish it was the same between 4 and 5 stars but you dont nearly need that many kills from 4 to 5 unfortunately
So i've never been below 5 stars ever since they bought that this visualisation of MMR so when someone of the likes of hornet drops to 4 it makes me feel anything is possible in hunt lol
