This is our commentary reaction to the movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" (2007). Chuck Levine (Adam Sandler) and Larry Valentine (Kevin James) are firefighters and true-blue buddies. When Larry, a widower, learns he cannot name his children as beneficiaries on his life insurance policy, he needs a big favor from Chuck: Sign on as Larry's domestic partner. The pals unexpectedly become front-page news and must carry the masquerade to extremes when an overzealous bureaucrat becomes suspicious of their true relationship.

No one watches it because today people claim this movie promotes homophobia and insulting to the gay community that 2 hetero men make a sham out of gay marriage. This generation are hypocrites. They love the Office and Friends, with it's open homophobia as the punchline of a joke but this movie is anti homophobic and they hate it

what a cast! I'm surprised I've never heard of this movie!
Strangely this movie gave me one the sweetest routines with my first kids mom. We got together around the time this movie came out. We watched it on night in my room. After that I came up with a hand signal for us to say “I love you” from a distance. Instead of the heart people hold up with their hands we would hold up a circle. Because...... well the circle represented a love that didn’t stop. Just like Rob Schneider’s character kept saying. 😂 Of course we actually didn’t end up staying together but I am still proud of myself for coming up with that one. 😉👍🏻 Actually how she has acted the past few years, with our son, I think that circle now represents HATE!

Always love that they cast Richard Chamberlain in the movie, who himself is gay and struggled with it in a time where Hollywood weren't as forgiving.
Kevin James' character is "Larry Valentine" in this movie. That was his real Fathers middle name and his brother is Gary Valentine (Shown @33:42) who played "Danny" on the TV show "King of Queens".
The message of this movie is like a circle.

Don't forget to watch Grown Ups and Just Go With It as well if ya haven't already. Always great to see Adam bring the same actors into his movies. Kevin did the same with bringing the guy who plays his cousin in King Of Queens, and also his real life brother, to this cast. Fun reaction guys!!

The actor playing the head of court is Richard Chamberlain... He was the heart throb of the 60's 70's and 80's....The Shogun mini series...Dr kildare,,,,The thorn birds...... To keep his place as a heart throb he hid his homosexuality for YEARS......Just a side note...

Brings me back to my childhood of watching all the Adam Sandler movies in the 2000's. three or four fun movies I would like to see you guys react to that are also underrated are. Accepted its a comedy with the kid from dodgeball as the main character and an early Jonah Hill performance too, and The Internship; its another duo comedy between Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. it would fit great with you guys having watched wedding crashers already. and finally the Harold and Kumar movies the second one is the funnier of the two but both are good.
