1. Is taking student loan for bits (loan of under 10 lakh) advisable if I am getting total expense of 17 lakh max. (Inc scholarships) with an annual income of 9-10 lakh?
2. Do we get 75% scholarship if we get above 300 marks in bitsat? I saw it on a random website that's why i am confirming it.
3. What is the criteria for merit - cum - need scholarship for 2024? Do the annual income has to be less than 15 lakh, 12 lakh, or 8 lakh? I saw different figures on different websites and videos, that's why i am asking.

Cat does not care about your undergrad college, a guy from amity who did pharma if scores a 99 percentile would get the same amount of preference as compared to a guy who did pharma in bits, and if you think youll benefit during placements, just know it’s only when you’ve done Btech/BE from tier 1 college, you get placed in high end IB companies, one of my cousins did a bsc bioinformatics from amity and later got into IIM Bangalore and right now she’s placed in Goldman Sachs, so your UG college doesn’t matter ata ll, aise toh DTU mai bhi BBA hai that too is a tier 1 college, CAT only cares about your ug cg and your boards ke number, infact if you really wanna do CAT you should firstly save money for MBA and also bits has a really strict grading system, so a 7 in bits would be a 9 in any other private college, so yeah

Bitsat score based scholarship is only for 1st sem and also it depends on the campus the amt of scholarship u can get based on your score. Also the criteria for merit cum need was 15 lpa for 2023-24
