- Short documentary to explain what to feed chickens to make them THRIVE, all the simple steps needed to feed and care for chickens, particularly egg laying hens. In this episode we feed with egg layer grain Crumbles and a side of soaked and sprouted scratch Grains. I have 3 of 6 leghorn Chickens in production and today we stacked 3 white eggs! I also show just how modular this 4x8 foot chicken coop is and we create an access panel for grabbing Eggs! you should also provide as much human food and table scraps, never throw away leftovers again!

Ilove the chickens and their Eggs very much but my chickens favorite food is all the green foods such as Onion . Salad Grains like corn . Wheat . Sorghum . And even watermelon . They eat every food that i give them 🐓🐔🌹❤
I caught the "release the kraken" 😂
That’s super dope, you got my wheels spinning!
Definitely 🌱! plantbased food forest with soil generation from biomass compost is the best 🔥
I use egg layer crumbles as well. Keeps laying regular. I started letting my chicken roam the back 1/2 acre cut fields and I'm guessing the tonnage of insects (grasshoppers mostly) they consume has made those yolks a vibrant orange color
sustainable & homegrown!
You dropped a 🥚🐣🍳oh boy
Where are your shoes
He's grounding. It's good for you.
I have 18 hens
They are eating each others eggs
How to stop them
I used musterd oil fill in an empty egg
But it doesn't work
collect eggs frequently from nesting box and leave decoy golf balls behind. they will peck balls and give up.
Do you give the girls any oyster shells?
@Michael McClure never have, I feed their baked shells back to them though.
@@RussellBallestriniI love seeing people do this. Oyster shell is great and inexpensive, but you can't beat baking the egg shells and feeding it back to them with a food mix.
Did you just walk under a ladder?
I walked under the ladder for good luck.
Dare you to drop a store bought egg and be able to pick it up uncracked! Home grown eggs are so much better, my girls shells are thick lile that too! My boys will get eggs and put them in their pocket and forget about it, go play in the playground and come inside and the egg still isnt cracked 😂
Hope you don't have weasels where you live.
Y cut your thing y not go inside to get the eggs
