Embrace that novice artist vibe - it's where all the magic begins! i just rewatched this video, and I think made mistake putting blick marker in the description.. oops. Sorry about the confusion! I do use many blick markers in my other tutorials, but not this one. Blick marker definetely have similar blues colors with the copic ones. I did use Blick 551&566 blue colors in the how to draw mountain tutorial during the water scene, feel free to take a look to see if you may like these 2 blick blue markers: czcams.com/video/cRUGo4bySIY/video.htmlsi=J2_G_D9X1hpgIKZB I didn't have habits to put the markers caps out in my old tutorials lol. Thank you!!! 💖 Good question. The TouchFive blue colors I have are 63, 65, 66, 68,70, and 76. They are all saturated colors. That's why I didn't use them in this tutorial. I used 63, 66, and 70 to color the water with my other sketches. They look okay but too vivid. l looked at the color chart of all TouchFive markers, I think their 144, 182, 183, and 185 could be nice to color the water since they are like pastel color. Hope this will be helpful. Finding the right marker color is definitely not easy haha.

Good question! ♥️ So I don’t draw from photos. All my drawings are original. But I do studying from lots of reference photos before hand to get inspiration. I mainly use Pexel and Pinterest.

I've learned from this that not every patch has to be filled with colour. Plus sometimes its the simplest stroke that has the most impact.
