It's a lot of work these days indeed. Once the 777 hype is over, I'll probably take a couple days off the channel. Then again, TFDI and JustFlight are about to release as well and those will be very interesting planes!

The Ultimate Guide will be paid indeed, probably something about 19,99 or similar. A huge amount of work went into it (basically every OFF day as well as lots of time during my layovers over the past two months), so a little compensation will be appropriate. However, I don't want to make it too expensive and thus unaccessible for many.
I have been away from MSFS for over a year, just happened to check the subreddit to see what is going on with the game lately, and woah, I picked a good time to check it out again.
The 777 is a hell of an experience to fly in in real life so I will definitely be picking it up and learning it.

Sure looks like there's a lot to learn. Not sure how my VA and Vatsim expect us to learn how to fly this bird competently by Sunday for the many group flights planned. But at least I know how to power it up now😛. Thanks for all your help. Really looking forward to the ebook.

Can't wait to have it released on Market Place on Xbox. Its going to be easier for me to learn this aircraft this time because I started with the default 747-8i in which i learned a lot and then I learned the PMDG 737 NG pretty much inside out. This was a challenge since there was a lot of things to learn. Now, starting to look at the 777, there are so many things that already connects in my brain with my previous experience with Boeing aircraft. I will have a good time learning this one.

I’ve never seen a PMDG aircraft in the really release hours (am just into aviation for 1 1/4 year, bought the 737 back in November last year) and the price was like 💀. I now know what’s going on here, but really concerned tbh🥹can’t wait for the release! Hopefully still this eve! :)

I know, the 777 flew first in 1994, but the beige/brown color scheme of the cockpit screams "late 70s/early 80s". I'm glad they moved to gray with the 777X.
Personally I prefer the grey of the 737 or 787 as well. But I guess there's no option on the 777.

What is the difference between 1 and 2 ground connections? I assume there is a benefit to connecting 2 since it's an option?
The 777 simply requires a lot of electrical power for all of its systems. Hence why multiple sources are needed.
@a330driver, you can start the APU with all fuel pumps off? It is a mistake you made or is it supposed to work that way?
It’s supposed to work that way. When you turn the APU switch ON it automatically starts the left forward main tank pump.

That's a placeholder until the plane is actually out for the time they set up the shop and productpage. They've always done that prior any release. If you try to buy it you will not actually be able to lol

A couple weeks after the initial release probably. The update process is so incredibly slow on marketplace that they want to ensure they will be able to do rapid updates if needed first and only then bring it to the slower marketplace.

It's not like they didn't say from the beginning on that the timeframe was the 25th to the 30th... And of course their communication happens in their timezone.
