An Elephant Encounter at Elephant Sands in Botswana

We spent two nights at Elephant Sands on our way to Chobe. It was amazing to view wild elephants up close. Though it was excessively hot and most of the eles were grumpy, as were we, we really enjoyed the experience. The camping at Elephant Sands, as in much of Botswana, is unfenced. The only small electrical fences you'll see are a bit in front of the restaurant/boma area and then a little around the bathroom/shower areas at the back of each of chalet.
