    I have always used my MXT AllPro for years and I have used the Simplex as well as Fisher, Garrett, and a couple others. Nothing comes close to the Whites. This machine is so easy to use and has found me so much treasure. I wouldn't trade it for anything. If it ever dies I will find another on Ebay. Great vid!

    I have a DFX. I want to learn more of how to customize the programs. 2 days ago I went to our Little League Baseball Field and found 135 coins in 5 hours. The craziest thing I’ve done. I couldn’t believe how many coins were in the ground there and only searched about 2/3 of the area. I’m going back. Amazing.enjoyed your video. Thanks for the hood info.

    Since Whites went out of business I was looking at the comments under the Electronic Minelab Equinox. People who bought them said they were plastic crap. So I bought a used White MXT off Ebay. noone has anything bad to say about this Detector other than you can get addicted!! that is what I am looking for. Thanks

    Just saw this video. I used Whites detectors for nearly 35 yrs. Sad when they went out of business. Got an MXT in 2013. Great relic & coin machine. Only wish it was water proof. Don’t think I’ll ever change. Thanks for the review

      Yes. I have used (coil only) in water, shallow streams etc., .... Main unit not waterproof. Detecting in rain with the machine is a definite no-no.... @@truthministries77

    I have been using an XLT for over 15 years and has never disappointed. I am so familiar using and setting the discrimination and all the different fine tuning that I can’t imagine could be replaced. To me the experience has resulted in more incredible finds than I couldn’t have imagined, the vdi is just incredible. I have never had a different one except trying a Garrett 250 and just immediately switched back to the XLT. I have become more and more interested into buying a Minelab equinox 800 or even the 3030 but I can’t find the info in a video that could show me how or if they would justify the price. If anyone has tried the XLT vs a newer Minelab I would love to know their thoughts. Great video!

    • @baneverything5580
      @baneverything5580 Před rokem +1

      I would try the Minelab Vanquish 340 especially if you live near a saltwater beach. It gets depth similar to what`s described in this video and is particularly sensitive to small gold and rings. I`m not claiming it`s a nugget hunting machine, but it can hit sub gram sized chunks at a couple of inches and tiny earring backs. In air tests it hits nickels at 13 inches. Only 200 bucks. The Equinox is incredible at picking out good targets amid trash in certain situations but struggles in EMI. But there`s a reason it was considered the best machine for years. The Deus II has a lot of fans now. The Simplex is a great value too, especially when hunting silver coins in EMI infested urban areas.

    I own several Whites machines, including the MX Sport, MX7, V3i, MTX, and MXT Pro. If I could only keep one, it would be the MXT Pro. 2nd place, the MXT. I run the Detech 10x12 butterfly on my MXTs for depth. It'll hit quarters at least 11 inches deep. V3i is a great machine as well. To any one who owns one, the only way I've been able to get it's true potential is by creating my own programs. Discriminate nothing. And run it in mixed stereo mode. For whatever reason this seems to calm the machine down, and allows it to run stable at higher sensitivity. Also, ground filters matter on this machine. Start with 10 band pass. And it doesn't do it's best with the whites 10DD. Use ANY other compatible coil you like..

    In my opinion, as a white user and dealer since 1984 and hobbyist since 19:07 18: 19:15 18:47 1978 the Whites 17:18 mxt all pro was the best model Whites has ever put out as a coin and jewelry Hunter. Currently using the Tarsacci MDT 8000 which uses a patented circuitry to enable it to 40% Deeper Signal over the current Top 3 models and Marshall if your a fan of the MXT and DFX you’ll love Tarsacci Mixed Mode. I had a whites 5900 dl sl pro and i found so much stuff with that old detector. I sold it. Then i bought a new Whites MX Sport and that is a really nice machine waterproof, multi frequency and gets a quarter at 10 inchs for sure. So yeah the MX Sport is impressive but also 750$ machine. I sold that one to. I wish i wouldn't of. Now i just ordered a MXT Pro off Ebay yesterday and paid 477$ for it. I am looking forward to recieving it. My uncle has a MXT, and a V3i. He says his MXT gets a couple inches better depth then the V3i. I am impressed with what u say about that OLD DFX! Impressive! You can't beat WHITES. Number 1! To bad they went out of business😔

    I freaken love my DFX. I beat the daylights out of it and part of the screen doesn't light completely but I can still nail targets with a high accuracy ID'ing the target. I bought a new AT Maxx and it finds things down pretty deep but it's noisy, the ID is very jumpy and it pinpoints horribly. I'm gonna use it for water hunting. I'm considering the Legend or the Deus II now and I will probably go with the Deus II after seeing it dig some pretty deep silver dimes and IHP's plus it's very stable on salt water black sand beaches although most of my water hunting is in fresh water rivers and creeks which the AT Maxx should do fine. I also jave the Fisher CZ-21, BHID-300 and the Whites Surf Pro pulse inductor so I need to take them all to run the Maxx against them to make sure its not missing small gold which NEVER escapes the pulse inductor no matter how thin the chain or tiny the earring. Its my go to water detector unless I'm in an area with heavy iron trash then the pulse inductor gets a break. One summer where I strictly used pulse i duction I dug more chains and earrings then in 3 summers using VLF water machines the small gold is just very tough especially on the 12 inch coil of the BHID.
    Well I didnt mean to write an essay but I dont run into many DFX videos anymore that get me this excited lol I'm glad to hear someone other then me still raving over his DFX. But I have to admit you have me curious about the MXT even though I'm pretty good with adjusting the settings on the DFX. I hope so I've ran it for 20+ years😎👍 and it doesn't owe me a thing I have a hell of a collection of colonial artifacts, relics and, coins thanks to that detector

    The big difference and its Huge... Nokta is listening to its customers and doing everything they can to improve their detectors and improve user experience.
    The older detectors are no match for the newer ARM Cortex based microprocesser driven metal detectors capable of doing ultra high end analysis of recieve signal processing and which we havent gotten to yet AI based processing incluging fuzzy logic based target prediction and learning from each target that is dug.
    Simular to the learn accept, learn reject feature on the DFX. Except with accuracy never seen before.
    Right now every time we use our metal detector we get smarter... Soon thanks to ARM chips and AI... Everytime we use our metal detector it will learn and get smarter... and get better at target ID and target seperation.

      It should be 12 volts and 500 miliamps. Amazon has one. (Charge for 2 hours at 500 miliamps).
      The whites 509-0022 is very hard to find. Also you can over charge when charging over 2 hours at 500 miliamps.
      The 509-0022 has an overnite slow charge feature which prevents overcharge damage.
