Probably the performance that gave me the goosebumps was the haka at the end! 🔥 Also the lighting could use some work… too dark, too many coloured strobe lighting! How bout just standard lighting so we can really see the performance well!
the camera work and lighting didnt do this performance any justice! Im sure the real life performance would have been amazing but wth! crucial parts were missed by the camera man leaving this piece feeling bland and all over the place! it was hard to connect to this performance mainly because of these 2 factors! I mean there was a whole girl dance part missed because the camera only focussed on the background dancers instead like????? I am still proud of our poly brothers and sisters for this! They did Aotearoa proud!!!!!
I'm gonna have to agree 💯 with the lighting. It's not just here but haven't agreed with the lighting used in some of their other projects too. Half the time I'm wondering what's the point of some of the dark lighting used when you can barely see anything. doesn't help when the costumes they wear are dark too. I want to see the dancers and their actions and expressions through their dancing. Anyhow that's just my opinion on that, love everything else.
