When I was 14, 2 other girls and I joined the 4h tractor club. The guys didn't like it much, but there wasn't any bylaws that said girls couldn't join. The club had tractor rodeos which was really fun and you competed with other clubs and at the county fair. I learned a lot about different makes and sizes of tractors and maintenance maintenance required to keep them in good working condition. I think a large equipment competition is a fantastic idea.
Mike Rowe might want to help. You guys are really into educating young and older people. We have around here a bunch of equipment operators many of who we refer to as " Backhoe Idiots". Bringing young people into the profession will help everyone. I have to wish you all best of luck with this endeavor.

I used to work helping supply the tree care industry with equipment. The comradery and friendly competition among the different crews really surprised me....I think this is a great idea to create a similar atmosphere for heavy equipment operators on much a larger scale! Great Idea! 👍😁

But here's an idea for a competition format after X number of episodes: After a certain number of episodes, bring back the winners from past events and have them compete against each other. Continue this process, where winners from a set number of episodes compete against each other. For example, winners from the first four episodes compete to determine the top winner from those episodes. Then, the top winner from the first four episodes competes against the top winner from the next set of episodes. Repeat this process until you have multiple top winners. Continue this until you have four finalists, who will then compete to determine the overall top winner of the season. This format ensures a dynamic and engaging competition, constantly bringing back the best competitors and raising the stakes with each round.
I just tuned in and are they going to be using set types of equipment or is it to be a random equipment per round event. I think that would show who the best overall operator is. My reasoning is you get a man that has spent 40 years on a piece and it will be easy. I can run very well many many types and styles. But I most likely can’t compete with the 40 year final grade dozer man.

Cool live video and how you all are encouraging and pumping up your vocation and industry. Maybe a couple of events that are blind competition where each competitor is in an isolation booth (aka porta potty)? That way they can't see how others accomplished their turn. Also, maybe an obstacle course something like what the law enforcement motorcycle patrol officers compete in?
When you said blind competition I immediately remembered a car event we did, an obstacle course in classic cars, passenger has to guide the driver through a course without popping any balloon markers. The organisers (both great friends of ours) were proving the course and as the car approached the boundary the navigator was getting progressively more excited with the guidance instructions and then my wife shouted oooowwwwwww! The driver disintegrated in hysterics, I think he may be permanently mentally scarred from it! 🤣
Sorry I missed your live on your CZcams page, I was working cutting trees down for my nephew, cutting down 2 big pine trees and 5 maple trees that part of them were rotten and was kinda dangerous to leave them standing with children running around the yard, so he asked me if I could help get those trees down, and I did it, been awhile since I have done this with these big old trees and between him and his son and me and my older brother, got everything done, I been working in the woods for many years, but it's been at least 12 years that I haven't cut trees at this size, 20inches across the stumps and the pine trees were 33 inches across the stump, and I got it done and I put those trees where he wanted them to go, I still have it and I am very proud of myself to still be able to cut these trees with my Husqvarna chainsaws and my wedges and my experience of logging that I grew up doing with my father and my brother's, we all were loggers, but after the big new machines took over the logging industry and that's where I lost my job and lost a lot of my future of my family life,

Sounds like a blast. Could you think about doing a amateur league. A lot of guys has operate equipment part time that is fairly good that may not be as good as you guys but might give you a run for your money.
I went and watched it really enjoyed it and looking forward to the other two episodes in next season. The one thing I would say is the contestants need to be in a tent and not see what the other contestants are doing.
This sounds very much like the NFL,invent a sport that know one else plays,then you call yourselves world champions, there's a big wide world out there with great operators using equipment that you in USA don't use.
