I think he's playing the Spada Bach with Monette mouthpiece in this video (I once read the interview about his setting). I do not know what he's playing "right now," but a few years ago, he was playing Yamaha (Yamaha is making his personal model: "6330B").
lol dude, he's doing that at will. its a very unique technique, wynton does it all the time. didn't you watch all of this video? he definitely doesn't use the airy tone the entire performance.

I think he and Alex Sipiagin are the best trumpet players on the world right now. Although everything he produces nowadays is bullshit for me. Pop Jazz. Whatever floats his boat :)
