I agree with you. This vid is about "Best Dancing". I'm not saying that Knock Knock is bad but it's not the best either. The dance is good, it's easy to dance along but it's not the best, same with TT. I'd prefer Heart Shaker and Ohh Ahh ♥
I hate the fact that people are telling that Twice Knock Knock shouldn't be a part of this. I just want to tell that even if the dance is simple, it's amusing and cool enough to be a part of on of the best dances because I've a 100 people are covering it. and I'm glad that even some simple dances of Kpop can be so amusing and cool to watch. and I'm not a Once to tell this. I'm just an ordinary kpoper who thinks they have a right to be here because they have also worked hard to get till here. and their dancing skills are just as good as the other girl groups! so there's no need to judge!
TheSavage ARMY it's not nearly as visually engaging as it should be to be considered one of the best. They spend too much time repeating the same move. People are probably covering it because it's twice and because it's easy. Other simple dances at least constantly change things up, knock knock has them doing the same thing for four seconds. To compare, other groups have repeating sequences that last two seconds max. Simple can be great, but knock knock is just overly simple.
LightishRedGummi Well, it's not compulsory that the hardest dances can only be the best dances. Some of the most simple dances can also be overwhelming and cool to watch and dance to. I'm sure it was worth it that's why it was in the video.
TheSavage ARMY I never said simple can't be good, knock knocks has too much elongated repetition, it gets visually boring because they do the same thing over and over again. The other simple dances don't have so much repetition, so they can still be great and engaging. Knock knock doesn't do that. The spin their arms for four seconds then knock for seven! It's the same move over and over, unlike other simple choreographies where it's a SERIES of simple moves! For example, cheer ups chorus choreo is EXTREMELY simple, but it's more visually engaging because they spend only a second on a (super simple) move and then immediately go on to a different (super simple) move. It's no more difficult than the chorus of knock knock but it's more visually engaging! If I had two options to choose from for better choreography, one was somebody doing the same backflip over and over for ten seconds and the other was somebody dancing the chorus of cheer up for ten seconds, I'd much prefer cheer up because the other is just boring!

Marina yo Plus, people don't understand that not all girl groups a are going to have perfect, hardcore dances. Girl and boy groups differ completely dancing wise. Though it would be great to see a girl group have a boy group dance to show just how talented thru actually are. I feel like these mainstream girl group dances limit their dancing talent

I don't understand why people think "Best dancing" is only a difficult choreo. It includes formation, how it fits the song and how memorable they are, not to mention coordination and synchronization. I've seen groups with complicated choreo that look horrible because they lack one of these.

Bp rocks! Their choreos are almost as stamina consuming as boy groups'. It's really hard to remain balanced when you're doing a hair flip every second.

Everyone. Just shut up about Twice and how their dancing is "not hard" and all that crap. They are very good dancers. Did you watch the hell that was Sixteen? They are very good. It's not their fault that management gives them cheesy dances. They're all good dancers. Watch some of their other dance practices, like Do It Again or Truth, or even their LOA remixes. They memorized three versions of one song!

also, Knock Knock shouldn't be degraded down so much just because of its repetitive moves. You should understand, JYP choreographs always stay true to what they mean. Knock Knock is full of knocking dances because, well, look to its name. At least i don't see anyone complaining about TT or Ooh-Ahh.

Unpopular opinion: I find most girl group dances disappointing and underwhelming. Their dances mainly consist of arm flailing and hip and leg wiggling. The rest is filled up with formations and stage strutting. Their dance concepts are either aegyo and/or sexy, there isn't much of an in between. I came to this video to try and convince myself otherwise but my opinion hasn't changed. If this is the best girl groups can offer, then I'll have to pass. There are of course groups that I like and songs that I love. I'm simply talking about choreography and performance. The girl group industry needs more groups like the old GI. And I'm not talking about short hair and androgynous clothing, I mean choreography wise. By the way, I don't have this opinion because I don't like girls or whatever like a lot of girl group haters, which I am not one of. I happen to be attracted to them.
*This isn't me comparing girl and boy groups. Boy groups have nothing to do with what I'm trying to say.*
