EOOI - Iba Olokun Part 1

In this production by Egbe Omo Oni Isese, Afiya (Omoleye) is awakened by a vision of her making an offering at the seaside. Not knowing about the context of her dream - which involves a traditional tray sailing of cooked food and sweets to the energies of the Sea, a ritual which has been practised and preserved by the local Orisa Traditionalists of Trinidad and Tobago - she decides to consult her Oluwo (Ifa Priest) Araba Olatunji Somorin for guidance as it relates to the meaning of the dream.
Araba Somorin goes through the complete process of Dafa (An ancient Ifa divination process for spiritual inquiry), confirming her dream to guide her. A description of the Dafa process is given throughout the video. Araba Somorin also advised her, based on the instruction of the Dafa, to consult her elders and merge the Ebo (Specific offerings based on the Odu) prescribed in the Dafa, the Ebo as seen in the dream, and the advice from the local elders. Stay tuned for Part 2, where Afiya consults her Spiritual Mother and executes the Ebo for the Imale (Energies) of the Ocean, as seen in the dream.
