I am so happy I found your channel. I was a hairstylist and a part-time Christian and thought hair was my life until God sat me down and told me to STOP! That was not my purpose. He led me back to my faith & told me my calling was healing the soul. So I quit my job as a stylist and created a journal & God said GO FURTHER! & I got my confirmation that I am to create healing journals. Thank you for this video on doing it with EXCELLENCE because I was going to just do something and sell it but I kept getting the feeling that I needed to be thorough and intentional with my journals.

This timing is so weird, I’m not really even interested in making my own planner brand. But your notion on excellence with being a Christian hits what I needed to hear. I am so glad I have found your videos! For some divine reason I just feel connected to you. I really appreciate how detailed this video is and the least I can do is like and subscribe. Anyway I have been sitting on this prayer journal that I created on Canva because I had no idea how I was supposed to print it. I recently have been in a spiritual rut so I decided to quit my 9-5 lol 4 days later my husband gets fired for no legitimate reason. BUT God is good and if anything those happening of events has encouraged me to step out on faith and start my own business. ❤
you are so welcome! Canva is great for starting out with design. Maybe you can start a little prayer group / facebook group using your canva PDF to start getting some early interest and build your list of future buyers! :D

I have a quick, "something told me" story LOL, which is usually the Holy Spirit. I was scrolling down my timeline and I saw you, and I just felt like I should click on the video. I've come across other videos of people doing things that I was interested in but it was just almost like a watch later thing. How can I use a kickstarter product like you said if all of these companies have minimums of 100-300 quantities? How would I get my "sample" planner for product photos and videos to show people what they're preordering? Not sure if that made any sense. In other words, would I order this huge quantity of planners and just hope and pray people buy them and cover all of the money I spent to get them?
Great Q! Printers allow you to purchase ONE sample prior to placing your mass order. Once you have your sample you can use that product to create your marketing material / content for the kickstarter.

Why did it take you so long to get into it? I had to skip past all your explaining your preference for binding. If you're going to do a tutorial video, the bulk of the video should be the tutorial
