I heard from a friend that there used to be an AE86 team that ran here known as R20works (after Work wheels) that were unbeatable at this tough IRL back in the 90s and maybe even early 2000s. Very hard to fact check but I'd believe it
@@studio55-jp If you search on CZcams "Norm Schiavone - R20WORKS" you should find a song, there's a touge video from ~13 years ago with the same title that shows the team R20Works on Otarumi with their song, it's pretty neat

i didnt even know it was real..
The Mod is a recreation of a past landscape, so the scenery is slightly different from the present, but the course layout is almost the same.
